yeah... i'm gay also...  but i'm not fully out of the closet... though i dare not mention anything on my thoughts on takeshi's orientation or i'll get blown away with a lot of comments! ;D you can mention it all you want, but the speculation is a moot point and has no basis in reality. takeshi isn't gay, no matter how much someone might want him to be or wish him to be in their fantasies. there is ZERO evidence or behavior pointing to takeshi being gay. in fact, fans who really keep up on articles and interviews with takeshi from over the years know the truth. it's a lot less shocking than people would believe... honestly, this topic is so incredibly tired and played out. |

There's no proof that he is or isn't. No one knows. He may or may not be. We'll never know until he says so.
He may even be bisexual. No one knows. And does it matter? No.
Until someone can give proof about his sexuality, it's going to remain a mystery. Mysteries are nice at times.

Mysteries are nice at times. it's not a mystery, miss c. there is PLENTY of proof (like from takeshi's own mouth, unless we're to believe he's a blatant liar) that he likes girls. there is NO proof that he likes men. period. that's all i'm saying. i'm not saying that it matters or not. that is a different topic entirely. i'm saying the constant speculation is tired and played out because there is nothing based in reality to point to this man being gay or bi-sexual. |

As a gay Canuck of European heritage, all this talk about girls could be just a cover. After all, where did these gay rumours start? The pics from Cannes speak volumes. And the gigalo club? Are the gigalos lying? Where there's smoke there's fire.
Not that it matters either way. We appreciate him as an actor. He could be straight, bi, transgendered, a cross-dressing serial killer for all I care. So long as he keeps making good movies ....

I'm going with what MissCarlos just posted on this topic (which would be fine with me if it ended, as it does seem rather old and tired out  ). Sometimes it's nice for a mystery to remain just that. But, ultimately, mystery or not, I don't care what TK's sexual orientation is anyway. It doesn't change the way I think and feel about him. I suspect this is the case for most of his fans (if they are *true* fans of TK) here as well... |

So long as he keeps making good movies .... you're kidding, right? takeshi was on a balcony in PLAIN VIEW of everyone, with a friend of 10 years, doing nothing at ALL untoward and you say this speaks volumes? this man has been working with takeshi for a decade, so why have they not been "caught" before this supposed tryst in cannes? omg, it's all so stupid! and the ONE article/blurb in the press about the gigolo club? sure, newspapers and gossip columns NEVER lie or invent things to sell papers. as for saying that takeshi's "talk of girls" being a cover...you think takeshi is a liar, then? and everyone around him, too? like i said before, is it a mass-scale plot? it's pretty obvious that those of you who ARE gay/bisexual are the only fans stuck on this notion that his sexuality is "a mystery" and that "he could be covering" and constantly making reference to "the balcony". i agree that it doesn't matter, but i also think that there are certain posters who cannot let the "gay discussion" lie fallow for very long. as soon as people stop posting to these old, tired, played out threads someone "new" comes along and brings the subject up AGAIN. how convenient. |

wow... obvisouly it does matter to you veronica, about takeshi's sexuality because yer attacking it like crazy! you say you agree it doesn't matter but it really looks like you want him to be straight and that there is no possible way for him to be gay.
we are just looking at all the possibilities and it's def. not because we are gay/bisexual and we have this whole notion thing... i bet a straight person would bring it up also, there's no escaping it, the question will come one way or another.
but actually, in my opinion, this stuff is personal and really shouldn't be talked about, if takeshi were on this message board would he like to see his fans talking about his personal life and what he might or might not be? if you think about it, it's not really a positive topic... all that arises from it is anger and an infinite debate. lets lay off the subject and stop assuming things based on little information...
