How does one get a white, dancing monster? I've just realized that I've posted a ton of stuff without registering as a member .. you're all probably thinking who is that dingbat who keeps writing these really long posts & harping on poor TK for his long hair & lack of fat. Sorry, it's the "weird-named guest."

Honestly, TK looks good in anything. I think I've come to the conclusion that he's the most beautiful Asian man I've ever seen or ever will see again. (THat's a big leap of faith right there! Future husband of mine, don't be mad, but I cannot lie.)

But you know, I was looking @ a website yesterday called JapanForum or something like that & they had a tribute to all the beautiful Asian men. And these guys were gorgeous model & actor types, one in particular looked a lot like TK. Someone even posted TK's pic & no one recognized that it was TK for quite some time! Unbelievable - where have these people been? And it's a Japanese pop culture forum?!

Anyway, the guys on this website were beautiful in a model, plastic kind of a way. They had the right clothing, the right cheekbones, profiles and sculpted muscular body that men & women dream of ... but their eyes were just empty. Posing in erotic & provocative ways, they just screamed to me "trying too hard." I think subdued sensuality and sexuality, like the kind that TK has, is sooo attractive.

There's a humility to TK that is tasteful and subtle, and it is so appealing. True beauty, one that transends boundaries, comes from the soul, from within. It's so sexy to see a good-looking guy act modestly and not realize how good-looking he is. To me that's TK. I'm sure he knows he's good-looking, but he doesn't go around posing as if he's a hunk or in speedos with bikini cuts.

He's even talked about not liking being thought of as a "package," refering to his pop star days, in past articles. Check out this great article from Time Asia about him -- he's so soulful here. "I feel weird sometimes ..."

I like him when he looks like he's not trying, like he just hopped out of the shower because he was late getting ready for our date. I like him with messy hair or even bad hair, a la The Odd One Dies. I like him with really long hair, only when it's messy & tangled up after fighting for my honor - like from the snow scene from HOFD, oh my, it's hot in here! ;D. Otherwise, I would insist that he cut it at least to shoulder length and not dye it. I don't want that hair to distract me from what I really want to see, TK's beautiful face and those soulful eyes!

Regarding Gigi Leung, I don't see her appeal at all. I know she's tall & all & has that innocent look, but she's kinda -uh, no, very bland. She was ok in "Tempting Hearts," but I really thought TK & Karen Mok made that movie work. She was so boring in "Turn Left Turn Right," I thought TK with crazy supporting actress Ruby Lin would've been much more interesting. Gigi's appeal is beyond me.

Why didn't they hook up? For me that's an easy answer, no chemistry! Look at her, she's with TK & all she's doing is thinking, "do I look cute enough for the camera?" Put your hands on him, Gigi! Look alive for goodness sakes - the man next to you is a hunk a hunk of burning love and you're sitting/standing there like a lump! Not very bright, is she?

Yes, Tanht, you should really register as a member! I've been wanting to tell you that. As for Gigi Leung... well, I've made some hateful comment on her on this forum actually if you happened to have read it, lol. I really am not a fan of hers. I don't see her appeal either, at all. Not that because she gets to be next to TK all the time... I'm not jealous (see I don't hate Kelly Chen, Kyoko Fukada and others...) She is just a bad (I was thinking "terrible") singer and actor and all she does is to stand there...

He did it for a Malaysian oil company ( Petronas or something) last summer ('04). Apparently it wasn't able to be aired on the Malaysian TV because the content is too violent. It seems that it also costed a fortune too.
WOW!! TK just look HOT . He looks great also with short hair. But with long hair he's just SPECTACULAR.
About his "almost a moustache" (it is so thin you can't really call it a moustache can you??) he looks definitely better without (MHO, of course)

TK's mustache ... I don't think he can get rid of it completely. I've decided that he's a very hairy man. Lots of head hair, facial hair, eyebrows. Thick, dark & wavy. hmmm. ;D Has anyone else noticed how you can see the outlines of his mustache even though he looks freshly shaven? Hairy.

Usually I'm not a fan of hairy men, but as with all things TK, all the rules get thrown out the window! His hairiness just indicates passion. The man is passionate! And to further prove my point, look at his skin, slightly darker than most Asians in his vicinity - passion, I tell ya, the man is loaded with PASSION!

I would vote to get rid of the mustache & any trace of it if I could. But I don't think that's possible, so I like him with a little stubble, but too much mustache makes him look like a Count from a gothic East European country.

As for TK's female co-stars, he has female co-stars? Really? I hadn't noticed. ;D

Well, he is a very good looking man as well. He started off as a model (duh! look at him) tall, slender, got that beautiful hair going on and cool.... similiar to TK. He has a deep, manly voice too

So, Webmaster (or anyone else), what else do you know about YT? Does he act & has he been in movies? My oh my, he is but handsome ... not as handsome as TK of course, but you know, just in case something ever happened to -

Perish that thought! No one can ever replace TK, not even a VERY good looking clone.

Takenouchi Yutaka happens to be a very popular actor in Japan and just made 34 years in January. In the film I saw him in, he came across as very manly and mature something like Watanabe Ken from the Last Samurai. I don't think there is much similarity between TY and TK except for their good looks.

I think Takeshi has a gentleness and sensitivity that is uncommonly beautiful. Not to say he isn't masculine as well. The most attractive quality he has is his modesty and the fact that he doesn't seem to realize how abovery *friendly* personely stunning he is. Long hari, short hair, mustache or not. I simply adore him!
And stop messing with his mole; it's criminal to alter perfection!

I don't think he's done any movies but he is a legit actor now. He does TV drama. He even filmed his latest drama in States or something? I think he can be considered as one of those successful "model-turned-actor"...

Is he married now? I read that he got engaged with his (model) girlfriend a while ago.

He has a clef chin, have you noticed that? Isn't that a bit rare for Asian people?

I'd read a magazine article where they compared TK to this YT guy and Kimura Takuya... it said that TK's got a certain elements that the 2 guys lack... dang I can't find that article back....

That's interesting you should mention the comparison between TKand these other handsome guys. I've often felt there was a special something Takeshi had that was lacking in other gorgeous guys. It's not the looks, but I don't quite know what that certain element is. If ever you find that article, please let us know. Maybe then I'd understand what makes Takeshi so special aside for all the obvious reasons.

I find it amazing how so many of Takeshi fans seem to be of such varied personalities. You know how certain types of people seem to like a particular type of person. In Takeshi's case, it doesn't seem to matter what our individual tastes seem to be we all have a common love for this man. I may not be saying this right, but I hope you all understand where I'm coming from.

I think TK appeals to some many different people because he seems to have so many diverse sides to his personality. He really does transcend boundaries, he can be sweet & innocent, goofy & funny, light & breezy, thoughtful & serious, brooding & complex, I could go on. It would be endless ... women, men, children, dogs, horses ... we all like TK.

I'm sure it has a lot to do with his cultural background, his mixed parentage and growing up in the mesh of cultures existing in Taiwan and then working in the profession that he's in, exposing him to the Pan-Asian world and hopefully now, with HOFD, the rest of the world. But it's probably caused him a lot of angst & confusion and lack of stability or centeredness too, this mix of diversity & blends, but it's what makes him so appealing to so many people.

And the neat thing is that he's really serious about his acting & the career that he's crafted so far. For me what makes him different than the average good-looking actor/model, is that he's searching for something that will give his life meaning. A search probably all of us can understand. But with him, you can see it in his eyes, those dreamy soulfull eyes.

I don't know if he'll ever find 'what he's looking for,' but boy, I sure do enjoy watching him look for it and grateful that I'm on this voyeuristic ride with him!
