If you were to bypass Takeshi on the street or in a store, would you actually know who he is?
I ask this because a few weeks ago at a Wal-Mart in town, there was this guy from a well known French Canadian cooking show that was there. I bypassed him a few times but I didn't notice him until I saw a gathering of people wanting his autograph and realised who he was and what he was doing.
I didn't know he was gonna be there. If I knew, then I would have recognised him right away (when I met Megadeth and VOIVOD, I already knew that they were gonna be at an HMV I freuqnet, so I knew who to look for).
Just curious. ^_^

Hmmmmm.....good question. I sure hope I would recognize him!  But you're right, if you're not expecting to see a certain person, then when they pass you by, it might not register. |

Same!!  I hope that if that were to ever happen, I hope to recognise him. It just had me thinking. I dunno if that has happened to anyone else but it happened to me. Mind you, I have no interested in the French Canadian cook. I saw his show like once or twice. It's amazing that we can see our favourite and love them and watch everything that they're in and we know what they look like and sound like and if we bypass them, we wouldn't even know that we did until later on, even though we memorised what they look like. |

I personally think I would recognize him. To me his facial features seem to stand out from other asian people so even if I were not expecting to see him he would just naturally catch my attenion.

If I walked by TK, I'd probably do a quick double take, thinking something like, 'I've seen that man somewhere before.' Then it would hit me: "That's Takeshi Kaneshiro!" Depending on what I happened to be busy with and how gutsy I was feeling, I might try and strike up, politely, of course, a conversation with him. From there, I'd follow the line of our talking carefully before daring to ask for his autograph, which I'd *love* to have (but, hey, wouldn't we all?). My little fantasy involves TK *not* being mobbed by other fans. If he actually were, I'd probably just quickly say "Hi" and how much I like his work. |

To me, he looks gorgeous in movie, if he looks much better in person, as people say, I think I will be able to recognize him..........

I think I'll be able to recognise him, he's tall and there's something in him that makes him different from the rest.
talking bout this I remember one article that said Takeshi is a tall and handsome man. He love to stay at home, even if he's not an actor, ppl will definitely take a notice of him for hot and handsome feature. He's a true model. If I see him, I'll maybe think like he's out of place, because he's to obvious having perfect body compared to others around me....

I'm a person who goes into denial alot , so if i was to pass him i'd notice him. But not cause he's Takeshi. Cause he's hot.  Lol. So i probally would try to talk to him or make eye contact and block the fact that it could be takeshi. In my opinion seeing him as someone average if i was to pass him, would be better cause i think he might be more open and willing to talk then if i was to ask to take his photo or autograph. I just want a normal conversation with him. *sighs* Thats all. i doubt having a regular conversation like that is gonna happen. Yeah, i can be pessimistic also.  |

Knowing me no I would not recognize him but if I did I probably shy away and blush and keep on doing my shopping or whatever it's am doing.

I dont think I would notice him because when I am out I just do my own thing and I dont look out for ppl, its a funny thing I do...LOL... I think it would have to be fate or something if I see him at all.

Hmm, I'd say it depends if he's incognito or not But if he were to be in my neck of the woods, I'd say he'd stand out cuz as we all know, this guy is a chain smoker! There are only so many places he could smoke out in public around here so should be easy to spot LOL.... ;D |

I know I would recognize him. Takeshi stands out, not just because he's so gosh darn good looking, but there's this sense of "I'm here" that I'm sure I would notice in a heartbeat. I might at first glance wonder if that is really him or some guy that looks so much like him. I would say hi, but only if my parents let me.  |
