DO YOU REALLY LIKE TAKESHI´S SONGS???

Well...I download the cd "the best of Takeshi Kaneshiro"
and I am very surpriced that all the songs are in mandarin/cantonese!
I just thought, the songs might sound better in japanese!
No matter...he has a wonderfull voice and most songs sound very romantic!!!!

He has a good voice, but not a good singing voice to be honest, he cant hit the high notes. He can manage easy songs quite well, he sounded quite good in the perhaps love song.

One Takeshi's song attract me in the first place on an aeroplane when I was listening to the recorded radio. The song is "Break up at Night".

His voice is soft and not quite passionate. When he sings, it seems that he is talking to himself only. I was attracted by this type of presentation and when I went back my own country, the first thing I did was to buy his cassette tape.

At that time, I was only 12.

I like Takeshi's songs. I was surprised when I've learned that he also has a talent in singing. Gosh, I really can't believe that he can sing coz I was already overwhelmed by his beauty. He's PERFECT!

You know, i was really surprised to find out that he hated singing. lol. And he still kept up with it. I have a song downloaded that I just love called: Love You Deeply. It's a ballad and he kind of croons but he keeps his voice low (like Jean says he has a hard time with those high notes) which is why I like it so much. He really does have a beautiful voice, especially for speaking. No wonder he did work on Tarzan and Onimusha......

I'm looking forward to whatever singing he does in Perhaps Love because it will be the most current. I'm just looking forward to that movie anyway.....

I remember one impressive interview of Takeshi in a magazine many years ago, which makes me a bit disappointed.

There Takeshi said he actually didn't enjoy to sing Cantonese songs. TK said he in fact didn't know what the songs were talking about.

My disappointment withered away quickly because I understand TK is not proficient in Cantanese as it is not his first or second language.

Recently I buy the "Perhaps Love" album. I enjoy listening his songs so much. "Takeshi Music Fever" comes again! ;D

Heya jean... i love his voice in the PL soundtrack... the songs suit his voice pretty well... so sexy... Jacky Cheung is pretty good too.. but TK's voice just captures my heart...
