Thnx for the pics sreyda!! I love how he looks in that white tux/suit in "Hero". So much so that I bought the VCD version. BUT to my disappointment, the sound quality sucked rocks!! Word of caution my fellow Takeshi-san friends...do NOT buy the VCD (US version) of "Hero". I'm waiting to hear back from YesAsia to see if I just got a bum copy but what happened when I popped it into my DVD player was I got both chinese language versions playing on each speaker. (Left one was in Mandarin, the right one was in Cantonese.) VERY frustrating! Iodred, if you haven't checked it out yet, do so since we're both suckers for men in suits

Kewpie-chan.
It is not a bum copy!!!. This is what we call the dual channel so you can choose the lang you like. We can choose the channal by switching the control button of the DVD Player or TV?!

Really? Well I see nothing on my TV control panel so I'll have to take a closer look at my DVD player. Would it be somewhere clearly marked on my DVD remote control other than "audio"?

Kewpie-chan, I don't know your TV or DVD have these function or not? Most of the TV and DVD we are using in HK are multi function (what we call is International Channel). We can choose NTSC or PAL and lang too!! Some TV prgram are broadcast in two dif lang, cantoneses/mandarin or cantonese/english, we can switch from one to the other; same apply to the DVD play movie or drama. Some DVD movie, let says, for korean, japan drama or movies, may have 3 or 4 lan (Koreean/Japanese, mandarin, cantonese and sometines even with English) to choose from the Main Menu!! For those asian movies, most of time are with 2 lan..mandarian and cantonese. You may press your DVD "Audio" button to says "left" or "right" for one or the other lang??!!

Konnichiwa Kewpie-chan-san, Without being presumptuous, my dvd remote has a "subtitle" button which goes through all the languages/subtitles on the dvd. The "audio" button is for which language you want to hear it in. Also, you could try the "set-up" via the dvd. Hope this helps. Gambatte ne!

Well there's nothing like that on mine stateside lovetk which (and excuse the euphomism here) just sucks rocks big time! I'm wondering maybe it's because it's VCD and not DVD disc? I'll have to throughly go over my DVD manual on what it says to do for VCD which I think one must go through PBC menu....whatever that means LOL. Miyamoto-san, I have an audio and subtitle button on my remote as well which is what I was trying to do intially but nothing happened. Moshikashittara DVD free player ni tsukawanakereba naranai kamo ne..... Mou chotto soudanshinaikamo ne. Thanks to both for your help. I'll let you know if I'm successful or not

Kuyashii!!! Well the manual was not useful. I don't know why it's doing that! And yes Miyamoto-san, you are right. With VCD you don't have much choice but to just push "play" Geez, looks like if I ever want to watch this I'll have to push the "mute" button.

well I found out something interesting last month. on my region 1 only DVD player, I can't switch channels left/right as lovetk wrote. BUT on my other DVD player (and ironically the cheaper one) did allow me to switch channels and thankfully let me watch it without dueling languages! Huh, so go figure. But, problem solved! Thanks to all who tried to help me

Oh, ok I'm sorry! I didn't know. My Chinese, nor my Japanese is good enough to understand everything fully. I didn't see this pic on this site, so I thought it might be interesting to some ppl.
