Just watched Infernal Affairs- Great flick!! Tony Leung and Andy Lau were great in it. The story line rocks!! I first watched TL in CE and was really impressed with him- his acting and his presence..He has such intense stares..

Ooh! Loved Infernal Affairs! I just bought parts 2 & 3, watched 2 last night and absolutely loved it as well. I have heard several people say that part 3 isn't as good, but hey, a couple hours of Andy & Tony sounds good to me Of course, a couple of hours of Edison Chen was pretty easy.

I just watched part 1 & 3. Love Tony Leung in part 1. Tony's great isn't he? Have you seen Part 2? I remember saying I wasn't gonna watch it, because it didn't have Tony in it...but I think it's my favorite of the three movies. Definitely worth watching, if you haven't yet!

I haven't seen part 2 yet cos my friend who let me borrow his DVDs couldn't find part 2. I hope to get part 2 by this weekend. I'm sure will enjoy it. I also like Shawn Yu who play young Yan(Tony).

I really enjoyed Tony in Hero and CE; he has those eyes that say so much more than what his mouth could. He's really a diverse actor and I think he deserves all his awards and respect in the industry.
I totally LOVED Infernal Affairs. (...and will not buy into the Hollywad version, thank you) The whole movie kicked ass
(Anyone see "Love is a Many Stupid Thing?"...it's a spoof of Infernal and another called "West End" it has Eric Tsang, Shawn Yue, Chapman To and Raymond Wong in it. It's so funny...you will laugh!!)
Though, I watched (kind of) Happy Together this last weekend, I didn't really like it. I don't like movies that play on that kind of emotional level; one person totally taking from the other and the other wanting out but not knowing how to; that stuff makes me sad. You know though, this movie really shows how diverse he is and that he can do anything. His acting was hands down excellent. Too bad I didn't like the story.......
Anyway....I have several movies in my Netflix queue with TL in them and will watch soon: Ashes of Time In the Mood for Love A Bullet in the Head Infernal Affairs 3 and Love Me, Love My Money
I've seen all of TK's Netflix flicks so now I'm moving on....and I'm so broke right now otherwise I'd be buying more of TK's stuff. (I'd love to see Lavender and Dr. Wai among others).
I'm getting into Andy Lau too but that's for another thread......

;D I love Tony Leung - I am a huge Donnie Yen fan and went to see Hero because of that...but when I left the theater, Tony was the only thing on my mind, lol. Infernal Affairs was also excellent, but I am in lust with Andy Lau, so Tony had too stiff a competition there I am not familiar with "Love is a Many Stupid Thing"...I'll have to check that out! In reference to TK's movies, I wish I was local, I've got most of them - they're easy to purchase off eBay, if you don't mind them used, which I don't, plus the sellers often have many of his movies and offer shipping discounts because you are ordering multiple DVDs. I "negotiated" offline with a distributor from China over the shipping fees and got a REAL deal on several of his movies. Yes, Andy Lau is another, worthy discussion (drooling)

Hi Angela, Thanks for the eBay tip! I did acquire quite a few of TK's flicks through there as well as Golden Bowl and I did pay a reduced shipping fee like you did, after finagling with some Chinese dude. I think it was Mr. International DVD and he threw in a freebie, too. Who did you finagle with? I don't mind used at all. But, I am that broke that I can't even swing five to seven bucks for one movie.......oh well....it's not the time to see them, then. And yeah, too bad you are half way across the country.....I'd drive to borrow and bring back but not that far! lol.....

I think it was the same seller, Mr. International DVD or DVD Road...based on my feedback on recent purchases, it was one of them. Too funny.
Yeah, if you're ever in VA, drop a line and we'll have a regular TK-A-Thon! ;D

2046 is such a great movie. I watched it in a festival here, at Recife. Tony Leung is Chow, the same man from IN THE MOOD OF LOVE. In fact, I'd love if Wong Kar-Wai made a third movie about Chow living that train. Because, when a love ends, there are two ways. My proposition would be the second one.
