The first asian movie i watched was Korean (Bichunmoo) and then i started watching mostly korean (some in ur list from Oldboy to taegukgi, musa, guns and talks, volcano high... i also watched silmidio, face, natural city)... Into the Mirror (Jitae Yu, Myeong miin Kim) will be shown tonight in Australia (on SBS channel)... i can't wait.. im not sure if Jitae yu is the Natural City guy... oh well, i'll watch it anyway...
I started to like Japanese movies when i watched Battle Royale (that was soooo violent -- geeezzz, but it's one of a kind)... and then the horror movies (from ring O to ring 2, grudge etc)
And Chinese movies? --- i think HOFD (i havent yet watched Crouching Tiger... LOL) .... and i got hooked on Takeshi movies and dramas (chinese, japanese)
BTW... that's great for Byung hung lee...

I just received Natural City in the mail from Korea a few days ago. The tall dude you're talking about is Ji-tae Yu..... I think. I'm pretty sure that's his name. Yea... he played a pretty messed up character in Oldboy. Boy! Oldboy blew me away. It's because of Oldboy that I really got into Korean cinema. Anyway, last night I just watched another movie with that guy in it. He doesn't play a bad guy though. The movie is called Ditto a.k.a Donggam. It was pretty sad. I won't go into details simply because I suck at writing reviews but here's ---> imdb.com/title/tt0270919/ the IMDB page of the movie if anyone's interested in this movie. I highly recommend this movie.

kiana - I finally opened up my copy of Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance and watched it. It was awesome. I really like that movie.
Have you seen Sympathy for Lady Vengeance? I want to buy and watch that movie so I can complete the trilogy.
Park Chan-wook's "Vengeance Trilogy"
1. Sympathy For Mr. Vengeance 2. Oldboy 3 Sympathy For Lady Vengeance

And no....he doesn't feel up his sister or anyone in this movie. His name is Ji-tae Yu I think.
