Again, yes again. My english is not good to please your guy. So, please try to understand what I’m saying. Thank you! I know your English isn't perfect but the point is, no matter what his relationship status is does not take anything away from him, as a person or as an actor. It's none of our business whatsoever. Same thing with his sexuality. Whomever he wishes to be with is his business. We can't tell him otherwise.

i think that perhaps everyone should just calm down... as long as nobody says anything against takeshi, and everyone accepts that its not really anything to do with us,does it really matter? those who don't care about his relationship status don't have to discuss it, those who like to gossip (so long as it's not malicious) why not just let them get on with it? there's no need for people to get upset, is there?

As TK's fans, we all should have faith in him . Most important to us is that he is our idol and we should all give him our full support come rain or shine.
Have faith in TK and trust him. Besides, we have no right to judge him.

Yes, I fully agree with yutakagr.
TK is human too, like us. I would think that we are the lucky ones, 'cos we are free, and get to lead a normal life. Whereas, for people like TK they truly have to pay a heavy price for the fame they had acquired through heaps of sacrifices and hardwork. They do not have freedom. This is the biggest price they have to pay. This is punishment enough.
Let us all, his fans do not forget that he is human too, the best we can do for him as his fans is to give him our respect and support.

I think it's nice but naive to think fans don't/shouldn't gossip about the people they like. Fans are concerned about his smoking and wonder about why his weight goes up/down (whether he is sick or something). Fans want to know if he is married or has a girlfriend because many women (who have no chance of getting him) want to fantasize that they at least have a CHANCE of getting with him if he's not already taken. He is smart not to talk too much about his personal life as the media would dig up stuff on the woman and print stuff about her. If they can't find stuff on her or both of them, the media would make up stuff about their relationship just to sell newspapers. Let's face it, news about Takeshi Kanshiro sells magazines/newspapers. Yes, he is human but lets also remember he choose this line of work and he knows the consequences of choosing to be a model/movie star. I guess I look at it a little differently. Making millions of dollars doing what you love to do isn't such a bad thing. He is willing to deal with the bad parts of fame in order to get the great stuff that comes along with his fame. When he truely gets tired of it, he will walk away from it and leave it all behind.

Very, very true, despite what others will insist; it is in human nature to have loose mouths and wandering imaginations, and Mr. Kaneshiro knew that when he entered the industry. He is still aware of the circumstances--hence, why he chooses to live in Japan as opposed to China or Taiwan--so he has consciously chosen this lifestyle. Out of respect, some will choose not to discuss about the private issues concerning Mr. Kaneshiro, but such a standard can not be uniformly applied to everyone; after all, to each his own. On the other hand, it would be terribly hypocritical of us to define what constitutes a "true" fan; the word "fan" is derived from "fanatic," which is defined as "marked or moved by excessive enthusiasm and intense devotion." Depending on one's interpretation, this can have many, many different meanings. Just saying... Hopefully, no one (or, rather, gleaning from the intense emotions displayed on this board, few people) will take offense to what I just wrote.

People really shouldn't take offense to what is being written here as we are not insulting him. We are simply stating our opinions. That was a good definition of a "fan" and some people have a tendency to be "fanatic" about TK. And you're right...I think I read somewhere that he does live in Japan because people there respect his privacy a little more. I also read that his home in Taiwan has been broken into by reporters and that reporters film his bedroom windows to see for movement of more than one person. Reporters in Taiwan have gone too far but he has found a way to deal with it....he lives in Japan where the reporters aren't so intrusive.

It is curious. And this curiosity has been raised elsewhere too, I notice. Could Kaneshiro-san and his manager be married? The points mentioned were that they have been seen to be dressed in clothes of similar colours and both were wearing similar bracelets. Not on one occasion. Cannot possibly be coincidence?

1) they're not
2) even if they were, why should it matter?
I clearly don't understand why many are focused on his relationship status. Are you a fan of his or not? His being married or in a relationship does not and should not change how you feel about him.
Look at it this way: he's still doing what he loves, he's still in the limelight, he's still alive. Take that into consideration. We're still able to watch/hear him and we're still able to meet him (if ever given the chance).
No matter what his status is, I still love and admire him. And ALL of you who are too damned focused on his private life should still love and admire him regardless.
This topic is one way rumours start. I'm happy to provide fan forums that are 100% rumour free when it concerns his private life.

Nobody said that they will love Kaneshiro-san less if he's married. Just merely a curious question that was all. Just a normal human question. No intention to create rumours. Who gave you the idea that the intention was contrary?
Kaneshiro-san is public figure, popular and good-looking. Normal for public to be curious. Simple as that. Were you not curious about him at the very intitial time you came across him? Look at it this way. Has anyone asked about you. No, why. It is because you are not public figure or popular. So, nobody knows about you. So no curious question.
Anyway thank you for your lecture. It made me cringe. Had wished we could have had a mature and constructive exchange here.
By the way, where's your website? Why are you pumelling visitors here?
