Unless we're really good swimmers? I live closer to the East coast than the West coast, so I'd have to fly to British Columbia and go from there. Airfare to the Land of the Rising Sun is expensive.

Most of my money saved will be for airfare AND for a place to stay in Japan.

Unless my friend will let me stay with him for a time until I get my own place.
