I just received my Lost and Found movie in the mail! Now I have 13 Takeshi movies! Yeah! I gave Takeshi his own section on my shelf. Jackie Chan is on the top shelf. I have 40 Jackie Chan movie so I think he deserves the top shelf. Maybe I should move Takeshi up to the second self. There's still a lot of Takeshi movies I don't have yet Jet Li has his own section below Takeshi. As for Chow Yun-Fat, I've only got 10 of his movies so he can't have his own section yet. These are the rest of my movies. Mostly asian movies.

tk_angel - The movie that is to the farthest right is Downtown Torpedoes(which I have yet to watch). I ran out of room so I had to put it sideways. The one before Downtown Torpedoes is Fallen Angels. The movie after The Returner is Chungking Express.
I don't have Fruits Baskets but will get it. I like romantic/comedy anime the most. Anyway that red anime box is a series called Please! Teacher. I just bought it yesterday and haven't watched or opened it yet. Chobits is hilarious. My two Chobits box set are still sealed in their original wrapper. Fortunately I have a bootleg copy of Chobits so I can watch that instead so I don't have to open up my real Chobits sets.
Maya - Thank you for the compliment. I was bored so I took some pictures to share.

Awesome collection Samanosuke! We should get together and have a TK-A-Thon, add my movie collection and we'd probably have almost all of them. I got a brother in NE Texas, I can stay with him, lol. Of course, I'm not sure my hubby would approve

Webmaster - I don't have the ones you mentioned. I don't have many anime. I've always been a huge fan but just recently started buying them. I've only got around 12 anime series and a few anime movies. I still need to complete my Love Hina series and Initial D series. Anime are expensive.
MissCarlos - The 3 Onimusha games + Onimusha Blade Warriors belong to my brother so they sit on his shelf. I would include them with my Takeshi movies if I owned them. Hideki!

thatonechick - I've been collecting for about 1 1/2 to 2 years so I consider myself a newbie. I would have a lot more movies but I spend a lot of $$$ on limited edition movies and boxsets. tk_angel - I ordered the Fruits Basket series. I've never seen that series but since you mentioned it I went ahead and ordered it. I also ordered some other anime series called His and Her Circumstances and Love Hina. Have you even seen Ai Yori Aoshi? That's my favorite anime.

I got Fruits Basket for $50. I bought the boxset that contains all four dvds. I learned that it is way cheaper if you buy the whole boxset (if available) instead of buying the anime series volume by volume. I always do a bit of internet searching for the best prices before I buy a limited edition movie or a anime series. you can use dvdpricesearch.net to find the best prices. Often times it will find a really good price for the movie you're looking for. I did a little searching at various websites for a Cowboy Bebop boxset and couldn't find any good prices. Cowboy Bebop is one of the more popular and expensive animes. Speaking of Perhaps Love.....I do hope they will release some kind of collector's boxset or something. I hope it will come with Takeshi Postcards, booklets, and all sorts of goodies. I would buy that right away.

Well, you're doing quite well considering! The limiteds and box sets will be worth tons later on, so I'd say you have been making wise investments! Hey thanks for the heads up on that....always good to know where to go for the best prices......and it would save time in surfing...... ***though, WM has a nice selectioin at low prices, too!***

I saw the HOFD collector's boxset in person. It was pretty big. I didn't buy it though because when I first saw it I wasn't into collecting limited edition boxsets yet. Now I wish I did get it though.
