i'm not too familiar with the j-pop scene, i just recently got interested since discovering tackey. anyway, no johnny's boys is not a band. johnny's entertainment is the company who's responsible for putting together bands such as smap, tackey&tsubasa, kat-tun, news, kanjani8 and i'm sure there's more. but you should know JE since you know who smap is....they're all managed by JE. the three guys in my sig, besides takeshi, are part of JE. tackey of tackey&tsubasa, uchi and ryo of news. here's my new desktop  |

I wonder if that's the same company that had a big scandal in Japan a few years back? My sister-in-law told me that the head of this popular studio company was allegedlly having sex with most of his popular boy band members. The story goes those who ummm spent the night with this producer were given favoritism and all were big hits in Japan and most of Asia. Some past pop stars came forth and confessed being emotionally scarred by the experience...and some of these former stars are now in their late 40's!

oh gosh, that's disgusting! these 'boys' are just kids and to take advantage of them like that just makes my stomache turn. i sure hope it's not JE, but like i said i've only known of these bands for a short while.....ugghh, that's just disturbing..... so what happened to the sick bastard?? i hope he was punished to the fullest extent. people like that are beneath the fleas that are on maggots!!

I'm not sure what happened to the guy...I'll have to ask my sister-in-law about it. But yeah, when I heard that, I was like this --->  Some of the boy bands that were in the "spotlight" as it were when this scandal broke out was: Hikaru Genji, Shibugaki Tai, SMAP, Shonen-kai or tai (forget the exact name). And even though this was a focus on the music industry, it did kinda put some focus on the entertainment industry as a whole about what goes on behind the scenes. |

getting off topic here, but kewpie-chan don't worry about it. i asked around and found out who it was. i am sad and enraged to say that it was JE. the accused was johnny kitigawa, owner of johnny's entertainment. after reading the articles surrounding these accusations, i was officially disgusted at the actions of this monster and the fact that the japanese justice system did no such thing about them....not even a single investigation....i mean what the hell is wrong with these people!!??!!

Yes, we are getting off topic but.... Oh my freakin gawd! So is the sick bastard still the head of that company?? Gee, I guess if one were to be a pedophile then one goes to Asia cuz the justice system seems to be lax and look the other way. (heavy, heavy sarcasm there folks.) That is so wrong in so many ways, I dunno where to begin.  The man coerced young teenagers here to have well, you know what with him or else. So you figure, all the lead male singers in these boy bands if not teen idols during the 80's, and 90's (mostly) who were big stars in Asia...well...they got to the top via casting couch.  Sick, sad and sick.... |

well we can go on about this subject forever but it won't do us any good or anybody else for that matter. i was just shocked by this horrific news and i can't help but worry about the wellbeing of these young stars. ......to brighten things up a bit...mr. orton is finally back on my desktop.  |
