if it haven't for HOUSE OF FLYING DAGGERS and GOLDENBOWL,i would not have known Takeshi.I really wish he will be popular here in the Philippines so that i will be able to watch his movies on big screen,and that all of his movies will be release in dvd.For now,he's not that yet known here.

Ogenki desu ka. I've been a member for a while and have yet to introduce myself. Sumimasen.

I first became aware of Takeshi-san when I first saw HOFD - I was blown away.

I've seen most (own almost all of them) of his movies and my favorites are HOFD and Fallen Angels - he plays such a funny character. I especially love the black and white scene. As for drama I like both Golden Bowl and God give me more time.

I found this site by doing a search on TK, and appreciate all the information and pictures that have been put up. I want to thank all of you. Arigato gozaimasu.

As for me, I'm from Boston. I'm also studying Japanese - I know hiragana and am working on my katakana. One day I will visit Japan. I'm an avid fan and cannot wait for more movies. I wish he'd done more and will do more in the future.

What sort of a TK fan would you call yourself? Well hmmmmm - same as you Accipter - not a HUUUGE fan - I've only seen him on HOFD's and had never heard of him before, but I think he is a fine specimen of a bloke he has that real 'look at me' presence.
I've also listened to a few of his interviews too - and he sounds like a genuine, honest person - so I have a lot of respect for him.
I'm a new little fan, and Im sure I'll love him more when I see some of his other movies.
