www.southcn.com/ent/yulefirst/200605110194.htmDirector Lau Wei Keung said that Tony Leung was confirmed to be one of the actor of this film, but Takeshi Kaneshiro still not yet confirmed to take up the role!!! No more news then?! Though Director Lau is not as good as Wong Kar Wai or Peter Chan...but asian fans do hope Takeshi will take up this offer....so as we can have chance to see him again!!

Thanks lovetk for the updates- someone in another forum mentioned that there's supposed to be a meeting with tk and mgmt sometime next week- but its nothing confirmed. for the tony leung project. Milly don't feel bad, i saw an article that mentioned it like fact too- so u can never really tell, so please continue to share anything you've heard.

ahh so there's still hope! good good... its not that i feel impatient, but to see another historical movie like HOFD...i'd do anything to see it! (except sell my soul) I hope he takes the role. If he doesn't, i'm sure his real next movie will be just as good of a performance. takeshi's pretty talent is pretty solid.

I agree with you tje...Takeshi-san in another historical movie would be great I've think he'd be great doing a Japanese historical piece during the Genji period. (If you're not familiar with the Genji period, it's kinda similar to the Renaissance period only more focus on the arts/entertainment.)  |

Whoa, hold on guys. Lovetk and I are talking about "behind the sin" with tony leung and Director Lau Wei Keung found on the "possible new tk movie thread" -which is not a historical piece. I'm assuming when you guys say historical piece, you're talking about this Green Dragon Saber project, which according to lovetk, takeshi is not involved in.

Aw, just when I was looking forward to the previews of this film. So Takeshi's not in this movie? Yes, it would be nice to see him in another movie with some history in it, but does that mean Green Dragon Saber is all ready filming with another lead actor?
