WOw great Interview... I have to admit that I recently thought of him as a very weird Personality who just does his Job but wants to be left alone besides this. But this Inteview gave me a new point of view. Did you see how his eyes began to glance when he talked about Zhang Yimou or Wong Kar Wai ? He has this very childish Enthusiasm about things he loves and gets exited about...I don't know, but a very fascinating person indeed...he is shy and very innocent ( don't get me wrong here) in one way and experienced and confident in another
and this voice is like chocolate melting on your tongue.... Jesus Lord help me!!!!!

I cannot figure out how to see this CNN interview. When I go to that CNN link above for Talk Asia, I see the blurb about the program but don't see anywhere to click to view it. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks.

I started thinking that too after reading all the articles about him being "cold" and withdrawn, but then I remembered that you need to take certain articles with a grain of salt. Which is why I don't bother reading too many, unless I find the source pretty reliable. So, yeah, this interview was really good. I luv that he's interested and fascinated with so many things (like me!!! ;D ;D ;D...ok, I'm ok now...hehe). His personality is just...infectious. I don't think they have the interview on the cnn site. You need to be a member in order to dl the interview on this site though. |

His english gets better and better. Hes in a good mood recently...LOL...everyone has their off-days, hes still human...LOL
To watch this interview go to the main page the bit "Club tk VIP" version and go to media section then watch or download the clip. You have to be a member to have the VIP version.

I got to see the CNN video -- interesting interview and neat to hear him speak English. I admire anyone who can speak a second language, not to mention several additional languages. About all I can do after three years of German in high school is count and sing part of O Tannenbaum.  |

i REALLY REALLY love takeshi. Hes such a great actor and after watching this interview,i cant help but giggles to myself when i hear him speak0 because hes just too too cute and i could see his sincerity and real self. Hes not as cold/quiet as the articles had quoted. But i admire guys who are quiet/mysterious ,yet.....very very gentle and sweet. I thought his english is great and i admire bilingual or should i say multi-linguallll for takeshi.
Hes a good actor,handsome,charming,and great singer..what an ideal guy!!

He was just charming, wasn't he? Yeah, it's amazing how fluent he is in English. He has lots of oppotunities to practice his other languages in Asia, but English can't be that easy to practice.

Thats not good. The cnn interview is a "MUST SEE". Takeshi is extremely good looking and real in there.
I've never seen takeshi like this before. I admire him so so so much. Despite, I wasnt too crazy for his hair hihihihi...
Nevertheless, his face camoflauge with everything.He's flawless. I love it when he smile gently as he answers the question. At first i was a little shaky bc i was afraid that he might studder,but i was wrong. He's very fluent:)
MAN...takeshi took my breath away ...puhahhaa
