I agree with you. The best commercial is New Galant, and even more the making of....wow.
But this one that you uploaded is great, I like his hair, so long and crazy.

wow looks like "multiple takeshis" is a theme in adverts. at the end, does he say "jia de" in mandarin, as in "you're wrong"? my mandarin is newbie, so please forgive. also, where do you think it's set: vietnam??

Hi, helena! At the end Takeshi says " Jia-na".
It isn't mandarin but japanese, and means "Bye now!"

Is he saying "Jaa ne" or "Jaa na"? (if he's speaking Japanese.) It means "bye now" or "later".
I thought someone in this forum did say it was filmed in vietnam....

Understand that this CM was done by a Malaysian petroleum company
called Petronas at a huge budget.
Ironically, when it was ready for screening, it did not pass the censorship
board of Malaysia which deemed the road racing scenes (btwn the car and
a motorbike) to be too "reckless", etc. So did not get to screen in Malaysia
(except for other Asian countries, I think). What a pity!
