This is the English-sub version I got!! Yeah it can only be viewed on computers because this has been the only English-sub version available on the internet so far. It's all the same out there. All the good quality version has no English subtitle. My email: admin@takeshi-kaneshiro.com

There are so many different versions of this drama with the only major difference being where the episodes end and begin. It was such a tremendous hit in Japan that many versions have been released. I know of at least five different vcd versions and one dvd, but some of the vcds have better picture quality than the dvd.
Are you aware that the Japanese actors did not want to touch this film, because they felt it would be a career killer? It was then offered to Takeshi, and he wanted to do it. The rest is history, because it made him so popular in Japan. I guess TK meant it when he said it's the character that most interests him and not where it's filmed or what the story is about.
Another interesting comment Takeshi made once was that he believed Keigo would still have gone to bed with Masaki even if he knew he would very likely become HIV positive. That's how much in love with her he was!

Let's see...
I have two versions - one w/ Chinese subtitle and one w/ English subtitle and they both have 12 episodes!
Each episode might be more or less than 45 mins... I'm not totally sure but it's around that time frame.

i wish i knew what this was all about... the japanese tv series "kamisama mou sukoshi dake" or "god pelase give me more time" was what made tk a star in japan. there are plenty of (expensive!!!) dvd's of it floating around, but none w/ english subs. i bought a set of divx discs (playable on computers, not dvd players, using realplayer or divx software) off the internet. mine came with 11 of the 12 episodes; after a brief but frantic search i found the 12th episode on a fansub site and downloaded it w/ bittorrent, which took about 3 hours with a pretty fast machine and a dsl connection. the show is a seriously melodramatic potboiler, but it's entertaining and plenty of fun for tk fans - as usual, he makes the most of his role and is why the whole thing is worth watching. is that what you were asking?

A great series, albeit a cavalier treatment of the disease-AIDS. I feel that there wasn't a realistic approach or portrayal as to the spread of the disease, what it really does to your body, etc. I think it glosses over the facts of HIV/AIDS---but simply romanticized the idea of a man who is probably in his late 20's loving a very young girl (16 years old) who has contracted the disease. I just hope that it doesn't give the wrong message to the young girls out there, but for them to just treat this as a non-too realistic romance/drama and not a fully accurate information regarding HIV/AIDS. As far as acting goes--what else can one say about TK--but, eye candy, dashing, excellent in his role of a tormented music composer/producer, and simply a superb actor!! In my opinion--he made this series really worth watching!! Oh yes--the OST is wonderful , too!

WOW! I want to see this show. Last night I downloaded the 25 page synopsis and read the whole thing before going to bed, viewed all the postings here and watched TickTake's video in the FE section - I can't wait until the Webmaster returns from vacation to get a copy. Oh well - I guess I will have to wait.

This drama is the first thing that made me encounter Takeshi, after that, I watched more of his drama andnovies. and I become crazy for him, oh I really love him, just now that I don't see much of his work, my love level has been decreasing, but nevertheless, I'm still his fan.
Kamisama is a dark drama, and one of very memorable drama in Japan, it got high rating, and skyrocketed Takeshi's name in Japan where he failed to do that with his first japanese movie, Misty. He brought Keigo's character well, cold, mysterious but SEXY.
my fav scene is when he helped masaki to steal the poster featuring himself! that was cool, .... Kamisama is a tearjerker... I cried, most ppl I know that watched the drama also cried....
this is a great Takeshi's drama. I just hope that he act more japanese drama and film, to be honest, I enjoy his japanese work so much, but only few for his chinese work..

You're right, ZaZa. It seems his Japanese works are more worthy of his acting than the earlier Chinese ones. Have you seen Misty and Sleepless Town yet? Then, there's also Space Travellers and Love 2000. I feel those 4 earlier movies, aside from Returner showcased his acting abilities to the nth degree! But, we all know that he gets better and better--as the years go by--as witnessed in HOFD, and hopefully the current movie he's working on--Perhaps Love--soon to be released by December (I hope!! ) If you haven't seen those that I mentioned-I highly recommend that you see at least Sleepless Town. It will be re-released this July--so you can secure your very own copy then.

Hi everyone! I bought my "Kamisama mou sukoshi dake" (God please give me more time) movie from this place, www.animedivxonline.com/dvd6.html. It's a copy but it can play in regular DVD players and it's of EXCELLENT quality and has ENGLISH subtitles. I seriously scrapped all over the internet for this after having read the webmaster's whole summary of it, which was great, everything matched up. I just had to see it hehe. And it's only like 13 bucks including shipping and handling!
