Article : Dance guru flies to HK for Love Date : 21 April 2005 Author : Sheela Narayanan
HOT Bollywood choreographer Farah Khan can now add Hong Kong to her already lengthy resume.
Mid Day reported that Khan, 37 - who choreographed Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical, Bombay Dreams and Mira Nair's Vanity Fair - has been asked to choreograph Peter Chan's new project, Perhaps Love.
ORIGINAL
The film will star Japanese-Taiwanese actor Takeshi Kaneshiro (House Of Flying Daggers) and Chinese actress Zhou Xun (Baober In Love) .
Khan said: 'I will be going with a 10-member team of choreographers and shooting the film at a stretch.'
She added that it will not be a Bollywood dance sequence but original choreography based on the music.
The musical will be shot on location in Shanghai and Beijing.
Showdiff Worldwide, an event management company, got Khan to do the film. Vice-president Jaiveer Panwar confirmed with The New Paper that Khan is choreographing the movie and will be leaving for China soon.
He said: 'The producer said they were looking for Indian choreographers.
'They met a few choreographers here, but when Peter Chan met Farah and saw her work, they felt she was the best person to do the film.
'They were amazed at how quickly she could put together her songs.'
Perhaps Love is co-produced by The Ruddy Morgan OrganiZation, one of the producers of Clint Eastwood's Academy Award-winning film, Million Dollar Baby.

Same here ElfinAniki. I like all types of movies, but I just can't get into musicals (there are a few that I like though). TK will be the only reason that I'll be running to the theater to see this one. And all indications are that Perhaps Love will be released in the US.

Thanks Windysgirl!! Always nice to see TK in something new... with the little bit of the movie you see here, you don't get the impression that this is going to be a musical.. well maybe it's too small of a pice to tell. Thanks again WG!
P.S. Liked the sparklers in the bottles!! Like the way TK runs down the steps- he runs well!!-Nice gait!!

Oh, I do so look forward to seeing TK in something new up on the big screen (even though I'm not generally into musicals either, but I'll see one with TK in it)! He's such a big screen kind of personality; his face and body movements say so much...
