Hmm, would I recommend this movie to you? Well,if I recall correctly, you didn't care much for the other Wong Kar Wai movies-Fallen Angels and CE. If per chance you did like them then this movie will be right your alley.
I think this movie has its merits; it's just frustrating to have to read the lighting speed subtitles!!

just got this movie yesterday. i didn't watch the entire thing, just the parts with tk in it. i must say it was somewhat confusing...why that weird looking guy kept popping up on the screen, that was really annoying. nonetheless, i still enjoyed watching tk. he is a little odd in here, but that's what makes him interesting.

webmaster i remember the parts you mentioned. the scene where he filmed his toes and talked about his toe hairs was freaky, but hilarious. ;D ;D yes ladies, we get a closeup shot of his toes and hairy legs.

This is another one of those hard to find movies. Where did everyone get theirs? Plus, I'm reading mixed reviews about this movie...is it really that hard to watch? I LOVE the Wong Kar Wai movies Takeshi-san's been in so would this be a title worth adding to my collection?

i'm not so much into wkw's movies....but if takeshi's in there i'll watch it for him. and if you're a takeshi fan then whether you highly praise the movie or not i think it's worth adding it.

I'm just curious about this "home video" thing that people seem to be turned off or laughing over. Is that in the movie?? What is he doing?

lol, yeah that's in the movie. the sleepwalking girl brings a camcorder with her every night so she can tape where she's been and what she does. one night she doesn't take it home and tk ends up with it, so he decides to make a video for her and oddly he films his hairy legs and toes....and he talks about the hairs on his toes.....it's weird yet funny.
