takeshi seems to be un-interested in making films for hollywood... coz of asian character stereotyping.
IMO, i really want TK to star in a movie that wud be for world consumption... im not japanese nor japanese... but i bet it wud make me really proud to be an asian... if i see someone like takeshi succeed in hollywood.
i reall think takeshi has great potential to charm the western market... he si absurdly handsome! that face alone cud lure millions!
i want to share the takeshi fever!
any plot running through ur head?

Hmmmmm..... how about:::
(1) an action/comedy movie teamed with Johnny Depp --- whoa!! Johnny and Takeshi
(2) a japanese horror movie made in Hollywood but this time, Takeshi should take the lead part
(3) i would really like to see TK play a Samurai
(4) make an anime come to life -- like Dragon Ball Z (lol) --- TK as Goku?, or Mulan

Well, Hollywood bought the movie rights to Onimusha and (of course) TK would be perfect as Samanosuke! At thirty, however, he's pushing the age limit, so I would it would come out of "development" and into production. I agree he's perfect for Hollywood. But he has to have the right vehicle. I think HOFD made many notice him for the first time. He was so good in that. (I watched it again yesterday and watching him limp through the snow saying "you can't save me with your dagger" just broke my heart! ) Of course, he may not be interested in Hollywood. In truth he can never really compete with the Tom Cruises or Johnny Depps because Hollywood pidgeon holes Asian actors, so why not stay where he is and be king?

I think he should try Hollywood. Jackie Chan tried out for it before but now he's successful. Jet Li is too. You never know until you try. I would like for more Asians to star in a Hollywood movie. Change is good. ;D

I hope Takeshi stays at Asia. Asian movies are more interesting and creatives than americans. Guys and girls, even Scorcese is re-doing a chinese movie!!!
