Whilst checking out TKs profile on imdb.com i noticed this film in his filmography..has anybody ever seen this? It sounds kinda obscure and i've definately never heard of it before.. What with TK being such a talented chameleon when it comes to choosing and 'becoming' his acting roles, i was starting to wonder about him doing a horror movie at some point and what he'd be like in that kind of genre.. looks like he's already ticked that box though! I'd be very curious to see this, especially as the review i read [as with so many other early TK movies] points TK out as being the films single saving grace (oh, and he plays a doctor in it too .. as if i needed an excuse to see any TK film!) Besides, i love treasure hunting for TKs slightly more obscure stuff! Follow this link to see the imdb.com page on this film - www.imdb.com/title/tt0109407/ EA x

I'm generally not into the horror movie genre (except for very old horror flicks that are more suspenseful and not gory), but I read about and looked at stills from this movie and have felt curious to see it...someday. (So many movies, so little time. *Sigh*) TK playing a dr., at such a young age, seemed a bit of a stretch to me, but I imagine TK playing any character well, even if he's not technically quite the right age for the part.
I think my list of TK movies that I jotted down, which is now buried under other papers on my desk (I'm selectively a slob, not one in general-- LOL), is pretty comprehensive. I should dig it out someday and look it over again. Frankly, I'm impressed yet a bit overwhelmed at all the work he's already done...

I bought a VCR tape of this movie and it is different from many of TK's other movies. For one thing it has a lot of sexual violence in it. The murderer commits sodomy on women. I think it is the most sexually violent movie that TK has ever been in and I wonder how he feels about it. I wouldn't think he would care for something that explicit. TK's character is very naive and doesn't take the danger he is in seriously. It is mostly about the women in the story although early on he is in it quite a bit.

It is always hard for me to say whether a movie is good or bad when TK is in it. For me that automatically makes it good. When he is on screen he does a great job but his character is not in the last part of the film. The movie is strange because at times it is funny but then it can get really violent. It did not get good ratings at all. There are several parts that are just boring but Takeshi is not in those. Hope this helps a little. I just enjoy seeing him in any movie no matter what.

I agree with you, Mercedes. Takeshi is always good. Well, I think It is passion, right? To be blind to the bad side of our object of passion.
