Hi friends of Take. I just watched Turn left Turn right. What a fantastic story, I loved it. I liked the idea of the other couple [The doctor and the delivery girl], getting together through Gigi and Take. But my favorite part in the story was the earthquake. What about you guys. What was your favorite part?

My fave scene in Turn Left Turn Right is when he spoke in English during that violin audition... when he said "This song is for the girl i loved and lost.......... ".... that was so touching...

i just finished watching that movie and lavender and i'm still smiling....i ordered myself a copy but when i heard that the local asian video store had lavender i went down there and found this movie too. i love it....there's so many scenes that i love i don't think i can pick a favorite. i love both scenes mentioned above plus the scene in the park when they are talking and find out that it was in fact them who had like one another when they were kids. he's so cute when they are sitting at the table and he's looking at her.....as if they are the only two people in the world. and i cried during that last scene when they finally found each other.

Isa -- I can't remember where I bought my copy (but it's a VCD copy) --- this movie is pretty rare but there's one member (Miki) who was sooo helpful and resourceful (I used to ask her help)-- i can't remember the link tho.

Great question, Pisces1973! My fav scene in TLTR was when it appeared that they had given up on each other and were leaving their apartments...then ran back in for one more try at the phone #! I was so frustrated at the near misses up to that point that I was yelling and fussing at my TV! and that embrace at the end? priceless!

How to pick one scene!?? Hmmm, well the scenes that stand out in my mind were: - The pictures the investigator took and how they were both in every picture not far from one another but each not aware of each other's presence. So close and yet so far....
I loved that little montage. It just showed how fate can play with people like that without them even knowing. The colors/tone of the montage also reminded me the ending of Kieslowski's film "Red". Both scenes dealt partially with orchestrated events put together by fate. The scene tied into the poem Gigi translated in the film. I don't really remember what my fav scene was in TLTR in particular since it's been so long, but I really did like the end when the wall dividing them crumbled and both were crying out of desperation. Takeshi's performance in that scene was very affecting...how often do you see male characters sobbing out of love? I also liked the scene where all the carousel horses were spread out on the lawn for aesthetic reasons...so haunting and sad.

I also can't remember what's my fav scenes for TLTR but I also like the ending of wall dividing ^^
What I like most, might be color that they use in this drama, good creative one!
