I don't know how many of you are aware of bittorrent files and programs. Maybe for some of you who do, you'll be looking down upon it for your own reasons. However, for many of you who are big Takeshi fans, and who cannot easily obtain his movies/dramas because of matter of geography and lack of multicultarilism in your city (aka: me), you may REALLY REALLY CONSIDER THIS...I mean really consider it. I am quite aware that you can buy these movies off of ebay and such, but for those of you who are near the brink of death by waiting too long... this is totally for you. For the people who don't have a clue what I'm talking about... bittorrent programs (such as Azureus) can allow u to download .torrent files from many many internet sources. You'll be able to download practically anything from movies, to videogames, to music, etc. etc. I don't want to go too into depth with this. I just wanted to see the response of those who are interested... I've had Azureus for about 2 weeks now and out of diligent google searching, I've already received the following: Golden Bowl (Full series, eng sub.) Fallen Angels (I haven't actually seen it yet. I'm busy downloading a kdrama atm, but I will see it!) Returner (Eng. Sub) Chungking Express (Eng. Sub... wow this movie was weird) Turn Left, Turn Right (Eng. Sub) Lavender (Unfortunately it only went up to 87% ...still hoping for more "seeds" but i still saw the whole thing with slightly poor quality) Perhaps Love (Tiny Eng. Subs lol) THIS MOVIE MADE ME BAWL! God Please Give Me More Time (w/ Eng Sub... You can actually get the entire series, but I've only started downloading the first episode. I'm really excited) Love 2000 (unfortunately ... I only downloaded the first episode because it didn't have eng. sub ... however there is a site working on it, so that might be available fairly soon) ... but for u lucky peoples who understand the language, you have no problem. Also "House of Flying Daggers" is pretty much the most attainable since it was very popular, but everyone's probably seen it. I'm sure there is plenty more to get ...but I'm trying to pace myself. The only ones that I couldn't find (yet) was sleepless town and tempting heart...so i ordered it on ebay! haha btw they're all very good quality, unless they don't finish. i'm lucky to have the resources to be able to watch it on my own t.v.!!! bad news is i don't sleep as much cause i'm watching too many movies. haha! i still do intend on buying all the movies that i've already seen...just to make it legit. Please message me back if you still need more info

tje, i'm somewhat familiar with bittorrents....i'm still downloading my first drama right now, boku dake no madonna starring takizawa hideaki. as for takeshi's movies, i already own all of the ones you mentioned and whatever else i was able to find on the net.
....oh yeah and if you think chungking express is weird, you should watch first love litter on the breeze....tk's kind of weird in that movie.

I'll have to tell a friend about this, so she can watch it with subtitles. Speaking of weird things Takeshi-san did in films, in "Perhaps Love" (spolier alert!) mostly females who was at the party afterwards said the scene where TK is has insomnia and is typing over and over some key words or phrase superfast on his computer is kinda creepy. I give kudos to the cinematographer who caught the eerie quality that makes you shiver.

hey kris are you into kdramas as well?! i was thinking of giving it a shot but i'm kind of a skeptic and overly biased cause i think japanese is just about the coolest language ever. lol if you know any good ones let me know! gosh seriously. chungking express was critically acclaimed because of wong kar wai...but in all honesty, i thought it was the worst movie i have ever seen...what was that?! everything about it was a just a mess!! AND I SPENT HOURS TRYING TO MAKE THAT MOVIE PLAY ON MY XBOX CORRECTLY BECAUSE OF OVERSCAN. when i finally got it to work... i was so disappointed with the movie that i had to throw something LOLOL ahh! something i have in common with takeshi! we throw things when we're angry heehee... i haven't seen first love... though i have heard about one scene??? something about making a home video and talking about his toe hairs! haha oh that would just scare me lol i don't think i'm ready haha kewpie!!! that computer part did throw me off too but it wasn't cause he was typing like a maniac over and over ... it was that LOOK IN HIS EYE!!! all bloodshot and psychotic looking... but i guess that's what he was trying to achieve. poor tormented takeshi he had every right though, i'll give him that. i recall being heartbroken and typing frantically ... goodness i hope i didn't look like that though WAHH! LOL! say... fallen angels is also on torrent...but i don't know.. should i get it? is it worth getting? i'm too afraid to read synopsis cause i find that it spoils the movie. hmmmmmmmmm

'Perhaps Love': yeah, the cinematographer did a good job shooting him looking a bit "creepy". When I saw that at the premier festival last month at SF my friend and I both gasped cuz it freaked us out! 'First Love...': good luck in trying to find this movie, hard to find And yes, from what's been discussed in this forum about the infamous "toe hair" scene, heard it's unsettling. Which of course makes ME curious and wanting to know what it looks like! LOL... 'Fallen Angels': I liked this Wong Kar Wai movie better and thought Takeshi-san's performance was great considering he DOES NOT UTTER ONE WORD in the entire film since he plays a mute. There are both funny and touching scenes in this film. I think you'll like it.

Well I went on another spending spree on DVD's that Takeshi-san stars in. Word of advice: never, EVER go shopping online when you're feeling depressed...especially viewing items of your favorite star! (Originally my friend was going to get some movies for me but his trip to Taiwan was cancelled at last minute so couldn't get it.) I'd download his movies for free but have an old computer so no can do. Video clips okay, but not entire movies

i just added "fallen angels" and "golden bowl" to the list of torrents, i think that's pretty much it for all the movies you can find of takeshi. all the other ones weren't as popular unfortunately. lost and found was also found on torrent but its no longer being seeded! *sad face* gotta go buy it theeeeen lol what's so great about youtube.com is that the downloads are temporary, and u can watch it as it goes! for anyone else who enjoys jdrama/kdrama/cdrama/twdrama and OST dl, i suggest www.d-addicts.com ...that's IF you have a bittorrent program. sweet deal!
