You don't have to tell me! lol jk jk Here's a link: community.livejournal.com/jdramas/Lavender (once you've signed up) -- community.livejournal.com/jdramas/446417.html you have to register, but you don't actually need to make a livejournal... unless you really want to. it takes a max of 10 seconds. they have a bunch of drama and movies, especially tk's movie "lavender" in direct download...aka not a torrent, so you don't need any program to download it. plus it goes wayyyy faster. its split into 5 files which you have to merge ...a total of 1 minute... and its very good quality! for those who haven't seen it yet... enjoy! |

ahh community live journal is awesome!! it's kinda like a myspace or xanga, but i like it better....i have one, but i'm too lazy to design it and post entries up....i basically got a journal so i can view and comment on other journals, all the forums i post on already take up all my time as it is....again, my laziness~

Quite upset that you are keep talking about BT TK series though you all claimed his Fans. Fans should encourage those interest on him to purchase any of his products other than BT ...!  Otherwise, why need him to continue in the show business??? |

Have you SEEN my growing DVD collection of anything Takeshi-san's been in lately Lovetk??? LOL.... Not that I'd ever beat Samo's collection (that guy wins the trophy in that category) but still, in the past few months, been on a spending binge. To date, this is what I have bought: MOVIES HOFD Returner Too Tired To Die Sleepless Town Lavender Anna Magdalena Space Travelers Turn Left, Turn Right Lost and Found Chungking Express DRAMAS Kamisama Mosukoshidake Nisennen No Koi Golden Bowl And the list grows cuz I will be getting "Perhaps Love" and "Fallen Angels" soon. But you don't have to buy things to not be his fan. That's up to the individual whether or not if they can afford it. Or am I missing something here Lovetk? |

well, look at it from a different perspective.. its almost as if ur forgetting that he's making millions of dollars with these movies. i'm sure tk is not missing out, and anyways i said i did intend on buying all his movies and dramas!!! because they're just so good haha
though i must say it is a miracle he has so many fans now in the western world. i would not have even heard about him if i hadn't bought HOFD and other people may be skeptic about asian films until they see a glimpse of what these certain actors/actresses can really do on the big screen... or rather, computer screen. anyways, if i didn't see "God, give me more time" online AND enjoyed it, i probably would not have bought the other movies of his that i now have today...

And to play a bit of a devil's advocate here, so long as the price gouging by the industry continues there will always be a market for sites like community journal. 'Nuff said, now let's pop in a TK movie in the DVD player and watch it. Someone pass the popcorn  |

cool! and one question...is it possible to find subtitles in spanish too???.... im from argentina, i undertand english but it'll be more confortable for me wheter its subtitles were in spanish..you know!

wada san, most of the DVD's that have subtitles should have choice in spanish...especially the DVD's of Takeshi-san's that are distributed worldwide.

^ really kewpie-chan? i don't think i've seen any of his movies with subs that offer spanish subtitles....unless i'm just being dopey today and can't remember.
and in regards to downloading and purchasing movies....i've never downloaded any of tk's movies or dramas....i paid for all mine. in the two months after i discovered him, i purchased over 20 of his movies and dramas....yes, i guess you can say i was a little crazy, but who wouldn't be over this beautiful man.
i have downloaded other movies of other artists....heheheh *points to the guys in my sig*....only because the official releases have no english subs....which i intend to purchase when they do become available with subs. but i have purchased their music cds and dvds so there, i'm not a freeloader.

just to inform people who want to see anna magdalena without direct download, it's now available on the youtube..so go check it out!
as much as i am a huge fan of tk... and as much as i would like to support his movies by purchasing it, fansubbed media (aka... movies/dramas that are subbed by the fans themselves) do a much better job when it comes to translations... for example, the love 2000 dvd... which i happily purchased for 70 dollars... ehm...happily purchased... until i couldn't understand what they were saying to the extent that i had no idea what happened at the end of the drama... !!! that was so not cool... and naturally i wouldn't download any of his stuff if it wasn't so unavailable and hard to understand! so i'd just like to say anyhow...his next movie, PLEASE BUY! and if ur gonna watch anna magdalena, buy the dvd version of that too... because i have it and it's actually captioned quite well... not perfect, but good!!!
