I wonder if there are pepole here who like anime and manga.
And if yes - then what is your favourite one?


I personaly like a lot of cartoons like

Ghost in the Shell
Last Exile
Naruto
Metropolis
Chobits
FF
Animatrix (it is not fully concidered to the style but I like it as far as all the artista are Japanese and draw in manga style)

Chobits are about the world where people live together with the replications on humans. THey can shift a real person and that is the main idea of the cartoon. THat is the world where you do not have to find your self a person to love and you do not even have to shearch for one - 'cause those replications of humans are in a way better then people. Some of peops get even married to them.

and the story revealed in the anime is about one robot replication of the chobit sery - the legendary one 'cause dome say they are only the legend - they posess powerfull amount of data and sometimes may be rendered as real human.

those robota look like human but they may be portals to i-net, to anything. THat is the story of one robot name Chi inlove with her master.

They're computers that look like humans.

Tchii (French manga translation of Chi. I'm used to that spelling) is part of the rare Chobits computers.

Motosuwa Hideki, who is a ronin, finds her, thinks she's so cute (and she is) and.. has no idea what to do with her, exactly. See, he's not computer savvy. Luckily, his friend Shinbo (Shimbo in the French translation of the manga. In the manga, they're already friends; in the anime, they don't know one another at the beginning) is so he helps the poor Hideki with his computer and thus the adventure begins!

The anime and manga have two different endings. The anime ending does pull at the ol' heart strings a lot.

I need more anime. Manga is a plenty!! Sailor Moon fans!! If you have duplicates/no longer want any VHS/DVDs of the English dub, please let me know!! I'll buy them from you!!

I bought volume 1 (of the manga) of Death Note. France just recently got the rights to translate it.

Wow! MissCarlos, thank you for that information. I have already managed to forget about the names of the charascters in Chobits. I only remembered Chi.
About Sailor Moon - that is not for me. But I guess there will bew a lot of peops who would answer your proposition.

is it just me or could anime be the way to a man's heart? this guy i like is quite into it, and because he knows i'm into asian culture too he suggested i watch chobits. i'm thinking of getting the first volume... u reckon it might make him look at me in another way?

And watch the anime. Tomokazu Sugita (can someone send him over?? His birthday is October 11th!!) is Hideki. I much prefer him over his English voice actor.

A guy I like a lot is into the same video games as me. Of course, last time we spoke to one another was last February.
