Takeshi's weight problem...

I'm not sure if the title was appropriate but Takeshi's body seems to have its ups and downs.

Look at this picture! Look how buff he was!! I think this was taken when he was doing "Anna Magdalena".. probably from 1998.



This is a picture from the TV show "Making of Onimusha 3". See the huge difference? This is from 2003 (btw you can get this show in the store)

It looks like he stopped working out and just chain-smoked to lose all the weight. Shows off his facial bone structure better, though.

in HOFD and in more current pictures, he's still slender but not as skinny as the latter picture.

Well, as I said on another thread, I don't think TK has a weight problem. He looks great very thin or a bit heavier. I do agree that his facial bone structure, which is an example of nature's ability to make perfection, comes out more when he's so thin.

Yeah, you can tell the difference in his weight. I think? He's been so busy with so many projects that he hasn't found the time to weight lift as much as he'd (probably) like to.

And to go back with the hair: I find that with his hair long, you can't tell that he's thin. With short hair, you can tell he is.

I've noticed with the various openings of HOFD, he's thin.

Wow, is that really TK with the camera? Now that's what I call a hot bod! I agree that he was really skinny during HOFD, but he's starting too look healthier now. Its evident when you compare the bts HOFD interview with bts Perhaps love interview. His shirt style is similiar in both interviews, but he filled out more in PL- although I think he still needs a little more meat. Well TK needs to come to the southern US and I'll feed you all the fried chicken and barbecue you can eat and fill you up some more!

OH yeah, you can see how buff he was in "Fallen Angels". Well, so long as he's modeling and now doing spokesperson for BioHomme, he's gonna have to stay on the skinny side unfortunately. Although, I did like how he filled out a bit in "Perhaps Love"....maybe now with him starting to film "Green Dragon Saber" he'll keep up the weight.

After TK has his fill of southern cookin', he can then head on over to the Bay Area and I'll cook him some home cooked meals. I love trying new cuisine/recipes and cook often for friends (they are starting to complain they're gaining weight LOL!) Of course, Japanese cuisine is my forte but also Chinese, Italian, Thai/Indonesian, Mexican and all American.

True, it's noticable. But I don't think it's really a problem. I think his weight just isn't consistent and that's why we question it. Takeshi's weight is one of the things he has to change depending on the roles he takes or companies that he models for. Sort of like how he changes his hair style from time to time.

Lately he looks like he's on the boarderline of slim and thin. I hope he takes care of his health, we should all take care of our bodies! I just hope he isn't pulling off a semi-eating disorder routine.

His weight probably has alot to do with the roles he's playing at the time. Plus living in Asian countries keeps the weight off naturally - it's the lifestyle.

I also heard that he's trying out the whole vegetarian approach?? maybe that's why he seems to be losing weight?

Takeshi-san has such boyish good looks, it so apparent when he is thinner. But just lately...those bewhiskered photos....sweet smokin' jesus! Someone get me a glass of water?! He has really matured in such a fine, manly way!
Thin, or not too thin...I have NO questions!

I don't think a glass of water is going to work. I have to agree TK gets even better looking through the years.

indeed Takeshi is as a very good wine - the older he is the better taste is.
