The Onimusha fanatic thread

According to the darkhorizons website writer/director Christophe Gans will take on Onimusha. I dont know if he will direct the movie or write the script. I hope this news will turn out true because I watched Silent Hill and that movie pretty much stayed true to the feel and look of the video game.

Here is a quote from the website.

"Onimusha: Christophe Gans (Silent Hill)' next movie is an adaptation of the video game as all of his previous projects (Bob Morane, Rahan, Non coupable) are cancelled."

meaning he cancelled all the other projects he was working on to work on Onimusha the movie. Let's just hope that Takeshi will be cast as Samanosuke.

I think the old PlayStation mechanics would have been awesome. Sammy is too adorable for words.

Considering the surroundings, the PS2 mechanics suit the game better.

CAPCOM was becoming more and more detailed with their Resident Evil titles, like Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis *squee!!* Carlos!! *glomps* And they were on the PlayStation first.
