So who's a fan of the Oni series huh?  To MissCarlos, You know what, I'm not sure if I'm a fan of Kaede. I'm definitely a big fan of Samanosuke (like calling his whole name.. hehe) sometimes I think he's hotter than the real TK!! lol. So about Kaede, I think she's too weak as a playable character in this action video game. She only has this knife and no Oni power! Of course her breasts are out of porportion, as in any other video games all females have enormous boobs. I don't like the fact that when you collected 5 purple Oni spirits Jubei would turn into Onimusha automatically. It's a lot harder that way espcially when I played Oni 1 and 3 first then going back to play Oni 2. I got used to transforming into Onimusha whenever I felt the need and not because I now got enough Onis I must transform. A lot of times the Onis were wasted and when I actually needed them I didn't have enough! One thing about Oni 3 is that I've been fooled. After playing Oni 1 you would've thought that getting into the dark realm and obtaining the Bishamon sword was very helpful for the final battle. So it's only reasonable to do the same in Oni 3... going into the dark realm right before facing Nobunaga.. pushing through all those levels to get the Bishamon at the end. But by the time you got it you probably lost a lot of health, herbs, medicines and stuff.. (I certainly did!) then found out that Samanosuke would transform into Onimusha AND stay that way the whole final battle!!! That means the Bishamon sword was NO use at all! What you really need for the battle was loads of herbs and medicines to make your life last longer. Nobunaga is a MF, he isn't the kind of boss who can be easily beat the first try (well at least to me...). In my case, I couldn't go all the way back to the previous check point to save some herbs again. It was too far. I could only keep trying and trying to beat Nobunaga with my very limited health from that last check point right after I'd done the dark realm you know. So it was quite tough. Other than those 3 things about each game I think the series is so awesome and fantastic. I had a lot of fun playing Samanosuke, Jacque, Jubei.. even Michelle  I can't decide though if I liked Oni 1 or 3 more... Samanosuke looked even more like TK in Demon Siege but I like him in Oni 1 with his hair all tied back. |

Confession!! I bought (and am plying to buy Blade Warriors. I've played my friend's copy and I have the guide) for Takeshi. *ahem* That's how I fell in love with him by seeing him grace the cover of Warlords. The big boob prize goes to Lara Croft, though. For me though, with what Oyu wore, it made her chest look bigger. I should know. I'm umm.. quite full up there, if you know what I mean. *coughs* The part I had trouble with in Samurai's Destiny was getting the shutter open for the flying machine (I can't remember the name). I died quite a few times. It was also annoying when Oyu said that you're going the wrong way and it locks on you BUT THE TIME IS STILL GOING!! Thanks to her obviousness, I died once too many times. What I like like about the beginning is that it's RPG-esque, the mine and going to get the gold to buy items and trade them off to get other items (I still haven't gotten all three fossiles. I can only get two). Kotaro saying "I don't want it but I'll take it" got on my last nerve now and then. DON'T TAKE IT, then, my dear!! Gogandantess is not easy!!Oh and in Blade Warriors, Juujuudormah's younger version, Juujuuran, she's way more beautiful I LOVE SHIPPUU!! It's my favourite weapon of the series and Sammy looks so HOTT using it!! Mind you, he's hot, period, thanks to the hottness of Takeshi. I wanna bombard CAPCOM with cards of love!! Did you notice in the trailer for Onimusha 2 in Warlords who was playing the good guy? I did!! I found that Michelle was annoying at times, espcially in the sewers. She was ALWAYS in my way and I wanted to smack her upside the head to get her to MOVE. She was a great help when you had to play as her, though. Even though I've played on easy first, it's still a hard game. I am now playing on hard and going through the Dark Realm is HARD!! I'm only missing Ako's black vest. That vest would come in so handy during various parts of the game. I still prefer Sammy, though. I do adore Jean Reno but I didn't like Jacques's whip. It's too bad that he didn't provide his voice for the English Jacques. His English voice actor didn't make Jacques sound so rough and though. Too bad that Tig Fong (Sammy's English voice actor in Warlords) didn't come back. Between he and Takeshi, they both sound great as Samanosuke. With Warlords, I play in Japanese with English subtitles. I prefer Kaede's Japanese voice actress than her English voice actress. I sometimes play in English, though. The Dark Realm is hard on hard and when you have hardly any healing items (CAPCOM loves herbs!! They're also in the Resident Evil series), but the Bishamon sword is handy dandy!! I love how when you use it to its full potential, you don't waste any magic, thus making the battle against Fortinbras a walk in the park. I have the guide to Demon Siege, so I knew that Sammy stayed in Oni mode when fighting Nobunaga!! Mwha!! I need the guide to Warlords so I can find all the flourites. If Takeshi still plays UO, I'll play UO, try to find him and ask. HEHE!! I prefer Michelle's French voice actress than her English one. I watch Totally Spies so I was kinda waiting for her to get help from Clover and Alex (as her voice actress is Sam in Totally Spies). Euh..!! It's not the first time, though!! With the first Devil May Cry, I was waiting for Trish to yell, "Uranus Wall Shaking!!" Since this is Carlos Oliveira's voice actor (I have such a huge crush on him!! On both, he and Carlos and yes, Vincent sent that to me, personalised!!), I sometimes think that he'll come to rescue Jill as Tuxedo Mask now. Or, drain her energy with a Cardian as Alan. Euh..!! The game was released in 1999 and I've finished Nemesis so many times (that I lost count) that I know that Tuxedo Mask and Alan won't be coming in. What do you think of an Onimusha 4? It seems likely. That runt from Warlords is the key character at the end movie of Demon Siege. If there's an Onimusha 4, do you want Sammy back? Like me? As an excuse to see Takeshi again? In video game form? |

COMPLAIN!! Why is there only English voice-over in Demon Siege U.S. edition?  Samanosuke isn't Samanosuke anymore without Takeshi's voice. Did you notice the English voice actor for Samanosuke sounds completely different than TK? TK's voice is very deep but this guy sounds too "clean" or something. I have to be honest that I bought the game for Takeshi's voice work... I was so disappointed when I learned that the Japanese version wasn't included (but it was in Warlords). Oh you reminded me that! Michelle really was annoying at times. She was in my f-ing way too!! I remember wanting to kick her out of the way especially when she wasn't helping much. But when I was Michelle, I loved the grenade launcher!!! I haven't finished playing Samurai's Destiny. I guess I was stuck after the gold mine (or in it? don't remember) so I just put it down for a while. Talking about it makes me wanna pick it up again.. hehe. I like that I get to buy things with gold too. I still haven't figured out how to use the "love posion"?? How do you use it? Who can you use it on? hehehehe.... too bad Samanosuke isn't in the game and I'm a dude (Jubei looking totally manly) or else it would've been really fun...  Although they left the ending unfinished I don't think there will be Onimusha 4. Not that I don't hope there will be one... I don't think it's likely. I think even there will be Oni 4, Samanosuke probably won't come back. Capcom is gonna find somebody else to model after... I think they should Onimusha a movie though!! Just like the Resident Evil series. |

There IS going to be an Onimusha movie but the characters have yet to be annouced as well as the actors. I hope that the director of the movie will know what they're doing. Look at the second Resident Evil movie and look who got casted to play my favourite Resident Evil character. HIS VOICE ACTOR WASN'T EVEN CONSIDERED!! The first Resident Evil was a laugh riot and I didn't see the second one because no one on the set knew what they were doing. They filmed up here in Canada, in Toronto. A direct quote from Anderson: "you'll be hardpressed to find a bigger Resident Evil fan than me." ARRRRRRRRRRRGH!!!!!!!!!!!! *curses like a sailor* I'm off track. I ranted. Sorry. I used the love poison on both Oyu (she gushed) and Ekei for fun. He blushes, per se. If you need help with Samurai's Destiny, I can offer some tips. I think the key to the Onimusha series is to have patience. Fortinbras and Nobunaga and him again in the third one and the Dark Realm. Oh the WORDS I used!! I concur, though!! I wish with Demon Siege that you could enable the Japanese voices after you finished it on normal (or even easy) mode. Takeshi's sexy voice!!  Truth be told, his voice doesn't match his face. Well, when he has long hair yes, but when he gets a hair cut, his deep husky sexy voice *takes a cold shower* doesn't fit his description. In Blade Warriors, Takeshi's not Samanosuke. After Warlords, there hasn't been a Canadian back. With CAPCOM, for the most part, the voice actors are from here, either they were born here or are citizens of here. Ask me and I can give you a list (of the ones I know). KONAMI uses Canadians, too. David Hayter is Canadian and is Solid Snake. Well, he was born in the States but his parents are from here. I could see Sammy returing in Onimusha 4 if CAPCOM decides to make one. After all, Takeshi IS the guest creator of the series. |

Takeshi's voice not matching his face?! I love his voice it's so deep and manly!!!!! I'm SOOO glad he doesn't sound like a girl. I wouldn't like him that much if he had a high-pitch voice or something. I mean look at Beckham. He is alright with a face like that but when he talks... aww.. just too bad he sounds like a girl to me. I'm so sorry.. any Becks fans out there reading this I have to apologize to you but I do think Becks' voice isn't "man" enough like it should to match his face and athlete status.
How do you know there IS an Onimusha movie coming?? Is it for real? Like my friend told me ages ago that they were gonna make "Neon Genesis: Evangelion" live action too.. with the production crew from "Lord of the Rings" and everything. But I haven't heard anything from it since then. Is it really happening?
Hey was using love posion fun?? hehehehe... I never knew how to use it. In fact there're loads of items that I bought I never found out how to use them correctly.
D a m n that voice actor for Samanosuke in Demon Siege. He sounds g-a-y... like when he says "Gildenstern..." it's just funny to me for some reason. When you compare his version of it to Takeshi's original voice work, the differences are huge. Takeshi had more emotions to it. Alright it's a video game but it's still important. Like you wouldn't want to watch Japanese animes or dramas with English dubbings right?! How horrible can that be... maybe Korean drama with any other languages dubbing would be even worse. You know how Koreans always express their lines so strongly and emotionally. They shout the lines out a lot right. There's no way the voice actors can do exactly the same in the recording studio.
Hey do you like Yuki-hime in Warlords? haha she's gone in the third one. Did she and Samanosuke really got together... lol. Oh hey did you get to see the so-called "true ending" in Demon Siege?
I have a lot of sugguestions for the special outfits in the game. The panda suit is a classic, it should stay. But then I wanna see a lot more other outfits... why not a "surfer dude" outfit?! Which will be only a pair of bright colored shorts and flip-flop... and probably with a sea shell necklace and that's it. Aloha there! The cowboy suit in Demon Siege is nice but I think we can handle a more outragerous one... Samanosuke can be in a Scottish kilt or something. I don't know... hahahah

Technically speaking, we get to play with him-whoops.. same with Carlos. When I play with (  ) him, I pretend that- euh..!! I do like Yuki hime. She has a reason for being there. Robin Atkins Downes as Sammy is a bit different. I prefer Tig Fong, but would rather have Takeshi ANY DAY, err.. I mean for the voice of Sammy. Well, I wouldn't mind HAVING him!! OPM had confirmed in an issue not too long ago that there will be a live action version of Onimusha. People who watch Cardcaptors won't know what's going on but for those of us who watch Sakura, Chasseuse de cartes, we get the whole story. Tips: Magoichi loves his hair so give him the hair care products. He also loves a drink. Also, give him the gun powder. Ekei loves to eat so whatever drink you don't give Magoichi, give to him. Kotaro loves anything that's exotic. Oyu loves beautiful objects. You'll see in the description of who gets what weapon/clothes/armour when you buy them. |

You really know a lot about those voice actors eh? I find it a bit unusual since most people probably won't bother to look into who did the voice work...
Usually I don't listen to the English dub when I watch animes. For some reason though I watched "His and Her Circumstances" in English first and I fell in love with the guy's voice!! I have to find out his name... I LOVE his voice!!

What I want to know is where they're from. That's a main reason why I look them up. I was in a state of euphoria when I learned that Carlos's voice actor's a fellow Canadian like me!! My two-for-one Resident Evil special!! What got me wondering who Carlos was voiced by was the end of the game when he said, "Jill!! Over here!!" He sounded so much like Tuxedo Mask, so I went on the web to look up Vincent Corazza (he's credited as Vince Corazza for Nemesis) and my jaw dropped: a gorgeous Canadian voing a gorgeous character!! I've gotten people to ask me where their favourites are from. Many are shocked when I tell them that most of them are from here. |

Oh I found it... his name is Christopher Nicholas. I LOVE LOVE LOVE his voice in "His and Her..." although he sounds completely, 100% different than the original Japanese voice actor.

That doesn't bother me, though. We're cheap. Yeah, so? Resident Evil's full of Canadians and we're not that well recognised, contrary to popular belief.
Also, some are shocked to learn what OTHER roles some of the actors have had!!
