I would probably be too shy to come up to him and say hi. Most likely I would ask if he was Takeshi Kaneshiro, which probably sounds stupid, but I don't want to be taking a picture with a poser or some one who looked like him, but wasn't him. I'd ask for his autograph and do all the funny things fan girls do when they meet their favorite actor. It would probably be one of the best days of my life if I ever met Takeshi.

One thing's for sure, I wouldn't just run away. I would definitely take the chance of at least getting an autograph and a hug which would be so sweet! It would be interesting to follow him home lol. ;D Or follow him to his hotel.

This is exactly what I would do...
Walk upto him, look him straight and the eye and say "Lets go play videogames."
OH THAT IS LOVE !!!!

Heehee, that's so cute. "Let's play video games." How about this sweet one, "Let's stay together."

Boy, isn't it everyone's fantasy to meet him in person and what'd we do?? LOL! Of course if I'd ever met him I'd first do the typical "fan" thing by telling him how much I admire his work and the choice of roles he's taken on. But after that, it'll be an episode of what I'd like to call "Dork (that's him) meets Geekita (that's me)" ;D I'd throw him a curve ball by asking him for his opinion and advice on some techy stuff. You think I'm kidding, huh? Nope! I really would ask him some "geeky" topics since it appears he knows lots of computer related stuff. (Aside from his video game obsessions ) This can possibly segue-way into discussion of how technology is changing the face of film industry or on a more philosophical level discuss about how modern technology plays in human connection or disassociation. From this point on we delve into Kewpie-chan's fantasy of what happens next LOL After having some interesting discussions and laughing over some amusing antidotes, we both pause, grin shyly and look at one another a bit self-conscious. I apologize for getting carried away. I tell him it's a trait my friends like to point out and tease me on how I tend to get "passionate" over geeky stuff like this. Feeling a bit embarrassed I chuckle and say, "Boy, you must be thinking what a geek! Huh?" He smiles and says, "Umm, no. Actually was thinking wow, brains and beauty too." (Kewpie-chan briefly has this look after the comment ---> ) Quickly composes herself, gives a wicked grin and says, "Well I have a brain for business and a bod for sin. Is that so wrong?" TK's eyes twinkle in amusement and grins widely to show those adorable dimples and says, "Melanie Griffin from 'Working Girl'. I liked that movie too." (all rights and fantasies on this reserved by kewpie-chan) Kya, kya, kya!!!! LOLOL........... OMG, if the real Takeshi-san ever red this I'd turn beet read in embarrassment!!

Lol, don't worry kewpie-chan. It would be cool if Takeshi had a fun conversation with one of his fans. It would just prove how much of a sweet guy he is. Not to mention extremely good looking. Ah..one of these days, I so want to meet him. Or even just pass by him..and see him upclose..that would be nice.

Yes, it would be cool to just chit-chat a normal conversation with him. Have to tell you a funny story that happened to me the first time me and my good friend saw TK in a movie. While my friend's first impression was being all gaa-gaa saying how drop dead gorgeous he was and how she just wanted to see him in person, etc. Mine was I liked listening to his voice and curious if (hmm, how can I explain this) the intelligence behind his eyes was my imagination or not. My friend exclaimed, "What? Is that it? The man is gorgeous and all you can say is I wonder what it'll be talking to him about everyday stuff?? LOL!" To which I replied, "Hey, beauty fades and dumb is forever. I like that I perceive the "beauty" within as well as intelligence that shines through his eyes. His being handsome to boot is considered a bonus. For me, I'd like to get to know the person inside rather than the outside for anyone can change the exterior. So I'm curious to find out if my perception is true or not." I'm sure to this day she must think I lost my marbles But that is how I truly felt and thought and still do.

Well that just makes you a wonderful person kewpie-chan. I'm sure that is the kind of thing Takeshi admires. Who knows, he may be thinking the same thing. And if that's true, oh wow, he's like an angel. He's perfect in my mind. The same thing goes for me, even if TK didn't have his looks, I know I'd still like him. He's just too fascinating to pass up from what I perceive him as. He's genuine, and some day, if I ever do meet him, crossing my fingers, I would love to tell him how much I look up to him.

Surely since there's so many of us here, one of us MUST have the opportunity to meet him, right? I mean isn't there some cosmic law that deems that at least one of us in a certain percentage should meet or at least catch a glimpse of THE MAN? Okay assuming that that does happen, to the lucky person- promise to kiss and tell!

LOLOL Sreyda Yes indeed you're right. I'm a firm believer in what you put out there (in the cosmos) comes back to you two fold. Even if none of us here meets him in person, I like to believe at least he reads some of these forums (and hey, who knows, may be one of us participating in as well! He can be you or me!) And Lily, I hope he thinks the same like what I wrote too. Sadly, not many people do...especially those in his industry I don't think he is a phoney. (Why else would we be discussing him so thoroughly here right? LOL...) In fact, think he's quite the opposite. And Kewpie-chan will side-track here as it's late and that's when she tends to get philosophical LOL! Perhaps it's just me thinking too much into it but I sometimes worry about him. The man is getting more and more popular and recognized and he's well on his way to being a megastar. But when you are at that level (megastar) in ANY chosen field, you tend to become isolated. And it not only affects you, the person, but to all aspects of relationships you have (i.e. friends, family, business assc., etc.) The saying "baby, it's lonely at the top" holds true for one is in essence, in an ivory tower they helped create. Anyway, so I wonder with Takeshi-san, he must know he's shooting to the top...is this why he chooses his roles/characters carefully to stay "grounded"? And is it just me, or as his star power increases, so does his "self-medication" (i.e. smoking/drinking)? Hmmmm. Takeshi-san, honto ni shinpai shitemasuyo
