Yeah one of us must've met Takeshi all ready. There must be a better chance of one of us meeting him than a fan who hasn't joined the forums yet, right? Anywho, I believe you're right kewpie-chan. Takeshi is a very level-headed person. I think he does what he can not to get too above himself and turn into one of those actors that don't even care for us fans who support him daily. I just hope that means he'll quit smoking soon. Btw, what does honto ni shinpai shitemasuyo mean?

Btw, what does honto ni shinpai shitemasuyo mean? It means "really am worried/ concerned". Which one of here has met him? Spill the beans, man! LOL Well, I hope someday for me...maybe this fall? My surrogate "grandmother" in Taiwan keeps bugging us to come visit her in Taipei so we're thinking of visiting there first then go to Japan. I can always hope to bump into him right?

We should all get a chance to meet him. Takeshi may be approachable. He just seems so genuine. I really hope he's really easy to just come up to and say hello as a fan. He seems so friendly.

Maybe. He's a Libra sign and generally us Libras (yes, I'm one too) tend to be friendly and make people feel comfortable around us.

My heart would go "aflutter" of course. I would take a second look at him. Keep my cool.....I would not ask him for an authograph..... but would give him a light nod of my head in acknowledgement of him...... give him a small smile and said softly in my heart "Love you. Bye". And pass him by.
Takeshi-san is like the moon. Bright and beautiful, one can admire and love, but cannot access or touch. So is better not to have an authgraph which will be a constant reminder of a lovely meeting lost, besides, I will feel awkward intruding upon his private space. So if I were prepared to say (in my heart) my goodbye immediately with a lovely feeling of love, the feeling will stay with me for a long time. And I will feel better about the chance meeting.

That's cute. "Love you. Bye." Takeshi being like the moon...it sounds like a description some one sings in a song. Yeah, if I did meet him, I would act like a crazy fan girl and ask him to sign what ever I had. My parents would be like...who is that?

I seriously wouldn't leave him without saying hi. It's a once in lifetime chance. I don't know if I mentioned this before, but I would also ask to hug him. That's one of my things I want to check off on list of goals lol.

Hmm...I'm curious about the prima donna part. But overall, interesting review about getting to see Takeshi. Those 3 pics she shared were pretty good too.

LOL, I just have to chuckle over the "prima donna" part as well. Let me share with you an interesting story about this... I recall when I was in college, a famous movie actor (will not say who for I swore to him when I talk to people of the day I met and hung out with him, would never mention his name) made a surprise visit as a guest speaker (he was a good long time friend of our professor) and someone asked him why as a male he was such a prima donna. The actor laughed and replied, "Son, don't believe everything you read or hear about in the media. After all, we're in the business of make believe. You dont' know whether it's live or memorex." and gave a wink. Later, I was with my professor and the actor. My professor was teasing him good about some of the stuff written up on him...especially the prima donna part. And the actor was laughing along with him saying it was far from the truth but HIS manager's company was the one who started that "rumor". Confused, I asked why and he explained that if people believe you are a high maintenance/prima donna type, they're dying of curiosity to find out why; both media and fans. Then you sometimes "act" the part and sometimes not to keep them guessing AND interested. I asked what about the price you pay in losing your privacy and he replied with a wicked grin "Once my 15 minutes of fame is over, they'll move on to the next Joe." So with THAT said, you gotta wonder.....
