With the third option, most metal singers don't scream or sing in such a growl that they can't speak by the time they're 40.
There's my question (since I'm a metal head, it got me thinking).
Could you or could you not?

You mean TK plays a rocker in a movie or as himself in a mental band?? TK isn't the rocker type. He is the mellow artist type.. hehehe

I know he can play the geeetar (I misspelled guitar on purpose) and am just wondering if any of ya'll could picture him thrashing away in a metal band. ROCK ON!! ^_^ I could see him sing in one. It'll be cool and different. I'd be interested to see how well he could pull it off. I'd be his bass player, though!!

Well, TK is very versatile, so I can see him singing and/or playing an instrument in a metal band, even though that's not my preferred kind of music. Still, it would be interesting to see him perform, either as a part in a movie or actually as an actual member of a metal band. I'd see him perform at least once, just for the interesting experience, though I'd definitely be wearing ear-plugs to protect my hearing. Now, watching him play/sing some mellower, more romantic music, that's another story for me...*Sigh*

Could you or could you not? Hello, MissCarlos! Yes--I can see TK in a progressive metal band such as Kamelot! Their 2 albums Epica and the just released Black Halo are simply awesome! Are you familiar with this band? They're what I work with when I do my paintings. ::)I like the type of songs that tell a story--these 2 albums can easily be made into a 'rock opera' of sorts--- I can easily envision TK singing with them and plucking away at the guitar

I'll have to read up on them. A kick-butt symphonic metal band from Italy: Rhapsody!! --------- One metal song I wouldn't mind his singing is Iron Maiden's Journey Man. "Charlotte the Harlot" and "22 Acacia Ave."? Maybe not. Another one would be Iron Maiden's "Flight of Icarus". There's one part where Bruce holds a note for around 30 seconds straight. Another one would be Megadeth's "Liar". There's a whole section that Dave does in one breath. I would also love to hear Takeshi play "Into The Lungs of Hell" where it's all guitar, bass and drums. And since he can play the guitar, it'll be interesting to hear him play the solo part. For those who can only picture him sing more mellow (aside from what he's already done), you could probably picture him singing Our Lady Peace songs. I can. I LOVE OLP!!

hmmmm... i cant imagine him singing in a metal band BUT
i can totally imagine him as someone who, on a lazy sunday afternoon, pick up his guitar and head towards the mountains... sunny and windy... and sing love songs to his girlfriend... over a basketful of bread and some soda.
and shout his heart out atop a cliff or something (the metal band way LOLz)
just a thought.

MissCarlos: Not the possessive type, are we now? LOL! You crack me up! Now excuse me while I take my guitar-carrying, tune-playing day dream, which happens to look like y'all know who! LOL!

He played the drum in Hero and seemed to be very at ease. We've seen him in various characters. Sad, romantic, funny, dorky, cool on bikes, fast with guns, kicks and punches, smooth at bowling alleys, at times a bit shy but look at the way he went at the ladies in some.
I think TK is someone who can do and be anyone he wants. Metal band? Easy. Just picture him looking like when he's in Sleepless Town.

Imagine him in Malice Mizer)))))))))))))))))))))))))))
