Hey--Leesa. Regarding Takeshi's dramas--there are actually 3 of them that we know of. I would say--they are similar to our sopa operas here in the States--but, I think I would lable TK's dramas more like a longer mini-series. The first one he did was 'God, Pls. Give Me More Time'--a dramatic, tear-jearker (you can read more about this series in the GPGMMT thread; the second one is 'Love 2000'--an espionage/drama/thriller series ; and the 3rd one is 'Golden Bowl'--a comedy/drama centered around a bowling alley and the lives it touches. You can check out more about these 3 drama series in their own threads. Hope this helps!

Hey leesa! If you haven't already stumbled across it, there's a really wicked site about TK - it's pretty comprehensive and is a veritable goldmine for Takeshi lovers! Find it at -www.takeshionline.net The site has a list of TKs dramas, here's the link - www.takeshionline.net/drama.html Unfortunately, as far as i know, all his dramas are as yet without english subtitles Oh well, my japanese is progressing slowly but surely - i should be able to actually watch them properly someday! Have fun, EA x
