Hello-
Came across this site to watch his CNN interview and found this forum...
Was just wondering what is it about him that generates so much admirmation...
His good looks are undeniable and he can certaintly act but he must be able to speak to people at a deeper level to garner such devotion. What is it?
Any feedback will be much appreciated.

maybe its the fact that he's so elusive... its as if he doesn't like being in the limelight. we barely know anything about him except the usual facts. it makes him seem more down to earth....someone we could relate to despite his status as a huge a-list asian star. maybe the fact that we don't really know the real tk is what makes us want to know him even more... like the saying goes, you want what you can't have!  |

I agree with tje. Takeshi's quite reserved and he's not always out there, so he always keeps us guessing. He brings this sort of presence which makes us want to know more about him and we just want to follow him. Lol, I know that sounds kind of silly, but it's true. The way he carries himself is just admirable and he pulls us in with the deep side of himself. Takeshi's like no other and that's why we like him so much. |

I agree with previous remarks too. Also, TK has a certain natural charm that comes across in movies and photos. I don't know if its called charisma or star-quality. Not many moviestars have this natural pull.

He's natural and not flashy despite the industry he's in and being talented and doing great work. Also, some here have mentioned that he's reserved and not always out there exposed except for when he does his work. This is a big quality of his, and it's admirable.
