Hey guys! Check this out- its pretty interesting: Article: April 24, 2006 Source: news.sina.com.tw/articles/13/78/93/...t/20060424.htmlArtic Takeshi’s spokesman fee is now close to 30000000 TWD. Even though the conditions for his contracts are very stringent, his fees are still above others. Ever since Takeshi’s fee for a certain well known cosmetics brand was known to be close to 25000000 TWD, many fans have stood in front of his light box to take photos. The shop’s popularity has risen. Even though he hasn’t confirmed the next project after Perhaps Love, his spokesman activities are still keeping him busy. Accordingly, the criteria for his signing a contract allows for press conferences but not appearing in front of any shop promotional activities. During the shooting of the commercial, it has to be kept secretive and all has to follow the script. They would discourage the company from visiting or sudden changes. Even though they shoot many photos, the management agency stipulate that not more than five could be used. They also would not agree to let the production company turn them into DM for handing our on the streets. They are only allowed to be reproduced into large sized light boxes. This is to preserve Takeshi’s image rights. This is a headache for manufacturers who want to mass market. But in one year, the manufacturer’s returns has increased and the men’s line has exploded in popularity. The sales had over 100% growth beyond the company’s expectations. It shows that Takeshi has surprising attraction for consumers despite the strict conditions. This time he has signed up for Hong Kong, Taiwan and China at a fee of 30000000. The fee would be shared by the three regions and the manufacturer agreed at once. So lemme get this straight: Let's say I want Takeshi-san to be a spokesmodel for a product I have. In order for me to hire him, it's gonna cost me $30,000,000 TWD?!? Daaaaaamnnn..... Wonder how much that translates into US dollars? Anyone know the current exchange rate between US and Taiwan currency?

1usd = 32 twd so that would bring TK's fee to about $936,177.66 usd. So yep, almost a million dollars per endorsement. Not bad at all..........
