Does anyone else like anime? I just got started since my friend told me how much he liked Naruto. I've never even heard of it, but apparently its huge in japan? thankfully, my newfound love, www.youtube.com... has got all the episodes there are! yayyayayyaa! i was very excited about it and now i'm pretty much hooked. ITS SOOO GOOD! it makes me laugh, it makes me cry, and it keeps me on the edge !!! i'm at episode 23 and its only been 2 days. nuts! haha is anyone else a big fan of anime? what's your favourite and what one do you recommend? |

Yes! But are you talking about anime for kids or adults? My all time favorite was Dr. Slump. It's sooooo funny! ;D I also love (and have in my DVD collection) "My Neighbor Totoro" and "Spirited Away".

OMG! Yes, I LOVE anime. Naruto is my favorite. In fact, I just watched Naruto Movie 2 the other day. You are in a good season of Naruto tje, but you've got alot more to watch; there are 185 episodes so far. If you would like visit narutofan.com, a whole website dedicated to Naruto fans and full of lots of info. You can also find there other animes you might be interested in watching.
Also, I would recommend you checking out 'Bleach' it is also a very good anime.

AHH! its great to see another naruto fan, aznbeautiful! there are loads of us these days aren't there? that's so funny that you recommended bleach, cause my friend did as well after i had finished the episodes of naruto. i will definately see it now!

I love Appleseed, Ruoroni Kenshin (especially the movies), Akira,and I went through a really long DragonBallZ phase lol.

I love anime. I watch Naruto off of Toonami on Cartoon Network. That anime rocks. My friend and I love that show. I read the manga too. Ninjas rock! I also love Sailormoon, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Full Metal Alchemist Inu Yasha, and etc. Spirited Away is a good one too. Hayao Miyazaki is a genius when it comes to the anime films he's made. So yeah, I'm an anime fan.

uuuugghhh i'm so hooked on naruto..i'm dead serious...this can't be healthy! lol i used to watch sailor moon as a child but i heard it was originally made as hentai? O.O is this true?! i wanted to ask... is there anyone in this forum who's ever watched GTO?? i wanna know if its good!!!  |

Yes, Sailor Moon was ummm "toned down" quite a bit to make it uhhh more palatable for Western culture.  It wasn't THAT bad in my opinion. I mean "City Hunter" was worse! |

I'm on my knees for Hayao Miyazaki he is such e genius, I love his movies so much. My favourite is "howls movign castle". He makes such heartwarming poetic and still funny movies it is unbelievable love him love him love him...

^Yeah, Howl's Moving Castle was so heartwarming. The story is so sweet with Howl and Sophie. As for Sailormoon, it wasn't meant to be hentai. I think you meant sentai, which is for a group or team. Since it's about the team of sailor scouts or girls with the powers. I remember always talking about sailormoon at school with my friend the next day after watching it afterschool the day before. I mean we're still addicted, but we obviously have tamed our obsession for it. Still, it's a classic anime and I love it.  |

GTO (Great Teacher Onizuka) is my alllllllllllllllllll time favorite anime. I've watched many anime and I gotta say GTO is great! So check it out if you can TJE. Oh by the way...I also like anime. They should animate Takeshi into an anime. That would be awesome!    There's a lot of anime in there. I like to cram them all into that glass case. |

Oh I was about to post GTO too Samanosuke! I didn't see the anime but did you see the live jdrama starring Takashi Some-something (can't remember his name) anyways, it is hilarious! He's quite good as Onizuka. They changed it abit from the book, but the major important parts are there, so its still very good. Each episode went by so quick cuz it was so funny. I love it and totally recommend it.

I haven't seen the jdrama starring Takashi Sorimachi but I do have the live action movie somewhere on my shelf. I haven't watched it yet though. I still need to finish watching a few more episodes of the anime and when I'm done I'll watch the live action movie. Hopefully I can find the jdrama somewhere and watch that also.
