i know quite a lot of the fans here are from not-asian countires. i just wondered whether for us, is it just takeshi who is so wonderful, or do you guys also have anything for asian men generally? i don't mean that in a horrible way, i just wondered how you all see it.  |

Indeed, Takeshi is so wonderful lol. Well I think he's a very admirable person and actor. So I think it depends on the guy, Asian or not.

It TOTALLY depends on the guy! I just love a guy who has "presence", something besides the usual cookie-cutter look. TK is probably, without a doubt, one of the most intriguing, intelligent, and attractive men I have ever come across. And I think this without a CLUE as to what his personality might be like. His screen and public persona just ooze charisma.
I think thats where the parallel to Johnny Depp comes from...You can't pigeon-hole them.
They do their own thing, and do it well.

I don't have "a thing" for Asian men in general... Doesn't matter what the guy's ethnicity or nationality may be, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.  Having a wicked sense of humor as well as the ability to laugh at oneself is a plus. That and having empathy for others. (Which from reading published articles and seeing interview clips of Takeshi-san seems to reveal these are some of his endearing traits that appeals to so many people in all walks of life.)  |

no such thing as the only and the only TK on my side here. I just say he is the cutest among all of the actors I know.
But I really do not care if the person is Asian or European or whatsoever - to me it is more to how I feel............tho sometimes somethings freaky happens to me - like thinking of Gackt as of someone very sexy
