Takeshi's next movie is going to be a musical set in the 80's titled "Perhaps Love". His co-stars would be Jau Shun, an actress from mainland China and famous singer/actor Jacky Cheung from Hong Kong.
The filming of the movie will begin in Jan 22nd in Beijing and the crew will move over to Shanghai in March. All of the three main actors in the movie will sing and dance (well it's musical!) but Jacky will do most of the singing parts since he is famous for his singing. One of the musical scenes they're planning to do will take place on the Great Wall of China.
It has been reported that the budget for this movie is going to be $9 million (usd)
So it says that 30% of the movie will be musicals (other than that I guess it's just acting). There will be 6 musical scenes in the movie with 10 songs in total. The songs are basically finished but some of the lyrics are being re-edited.
