Hi webmaster
What does 'dorky' actually means. Can't find it in the dictionary.
Can't bear TK's face up there, so sad...
He's so wonderful with facial expressions.
Dearest Takeshi, I will always love you.

Hi webmaster What does 'dorky' actually means. Can't find it in the dictionary. "dorky" can be used in a negative way or it can be used in a kind of affectionate way. either way, it means something very similar to "nerdy". do you understand "nerd"? if not, i probably am not helping you.

Hi, everyone! Thought I would officially introduce myself, as I've tend to be very verbose on my postings already - I hate introductions though, I'm so bad at it. NAME: OleWiseOne ('cause I'm old & like to think wisdom comes with being old) aka TANHT (I've posted so often as a guest, I've missed out on accumulating dancing white monsters!) LOCATION: St. Paul, MN, USA - originally from Sai Gon, South Viet Nam FOUND SITE WHEN: I googled TK & went through 32 pages of other sites on him - it was well worth the work though. This site is a keeper! FAVE TK MOVIE: The Odd One Dies (of course! If I haven't posted ad nauseum about it.) Then HOFD and Fallen Angels (it was neck & neck, but HOFD beat Fallen Angels only because he's in more scenes in HOFD and he looks soooo manly in HOFD.) FAVE TK DRAMA: Golden Bowl (only 1 I've seen of his dramas, but I'm sure Please God ... will be #1 when I get a copy of it.) WORD TO DESCRIBE TK: Dreamy INTERESTING FACT: I love movies, not just TK's, but all kinds. I'm especially fond of 1930's & 1940's screwball comedies like His Girl Friday & Bringing up Baby. I love classic, B&W Hollywood movies & movie stars like Brando, Cary Grant, Bette Davis, Rosalind Russell. ALso just wanted to mention it's been really fun writing to all of you on this forum!

Hi webmaster What does 'dorky' actually means. Can't find it in the dictionary. I found "DORK" in my dictionary. DORK is described as "dull, slow-witted or oafish person." Basically, it's American slang for something that can be considered unattractive or unpopular. But, as Veronica stated, it can be used in an affectionate way. For example when you want to tease your brother or sister, you call them silly names like "dork" or "dorky". It's then used in a teasing manner towards someone you really do like. The meaning changes depending on how you want use it.

do you understand "nerd"? if not, i probably am not helping you. Thanks Veronica, I do know "nerd". But umm... can't seem to figure him that way. Affectionately? Well... maybe I'm attracted to another side of him.

Ok, here goes! Name or nickname: Nothing "official", but sometimes my sisters call me "Stumpy." Comes with being the shortest member of my family, I guess. Location: Delaware, OH USA (a small city just north of the capital city of Columbus)How did you find out the site: I found this gem while I was trying to get a Takeshi fix right after seeing HOFD.What sort of TK fan would you call yourself: A thoroughly impressed newbie. I'm still blown away by the fact that this guy has no formal training. Some people just have it.Favorite TK movie: "Fallen Angels." Before seeing the movie, I read that Takeshi's character didn't speak. I initially thought, "Man, that sucks!" because I absolutely love the sound of his voice. But sometimes words just aren't necessary.Favorite TK drama: "Golden Bowl" (I'm forever indebted to the Webmaster!!). There's nothing better than a good looking man that can make you laugh! One word to describe TK: QuirkyInteresting things about yourself: I was born at The Ohio State University Hospital, my high school graduation took place on the campus of OSU, I attended and graduated from the aforementioned university, and my biggest fear is that I will one day die....at The Ohio State University.

Name or nickname: Asian Female WHO LOVES ASIAN MEN
Location: California, USA
How did you find out the site: From another site on Takeshi
What sort of TK fan would you call yourself: Obsessed. Utterly and completely bowled over by his beauty
Favorite TK movie: House of Flying Daggers--just because I haven't had a chance to see too many of his movies. No worries--I have order galore on ebay.
Favorite TK drama: Haven't seen any
One word to describe TK: Unbelievably gorgeous. There should be a law against anyone being that beautiful
Interesting things about yourself: I am a professor of Asian Studies, so I teach a lot about how the west tends to undermine the east, and how Asian men are emasculated--made inferiour--by western people.
I am troubled by the stereotypical gossip about Kaneshiro's sexuality. I have a mad crush on Kaneshiro the actor--and so I think his private life should be just that: private.
