Hi All! I'm Lilycat, for my black cat, Lilian. =^.^= I live in Allentown, PA, USA (please don't pity me!). I am a budding TK fan, and like everyone else, fell in love with him in Returner and HOFD. I haven't seen all of his movies, but my favorite so far is "Lost and Found." When he holds his baby at the end, I just about died! And when he sings and dances, I cringe and smile at the same time! I haven't seen any of his TV shows yet. He seems to always be in romance movies. I would like to see him branch out and do some more serious or independent roles. Something interesting about me? I used to be a newspaper reporter, I am teaching myself to speak Japanese, I have a Japanese pen pal who I write to everyday, I visited Japan and met a geisha, and I am engaged to my best friend! (Sorry, TK, I'm off the market!) And I love doing anything that has to do with Asian culture. I am going to a taiko drumming class Saturday. Just want to say that I think it is nice that everyone here is so welcoming. I just started posting last week and was welcomed by two people. It was great! And I love that there is a place where I can unabashedly gush about this talented man!

We seem to have alot of smart, industrious fans here- I think it is fab that you are studying Japanese. Congrats on your engagement!! ( TK will understand.)
Taiko drums.....sounds interesting. I am not familiar with them.

hello everyone! A big (if belated - sorry bout that!) welcome to all our new members! Brilliant to have you all here and i look forward to sharing many giggles and TK gazing with you! I really like reading this thread - it's so interesting to hear where people are from and what kind of interests they have. Having said that, I've been a member of this forum for a fair while now and i haven't gotten around to filling out my own greeting here, so here goes! Name or nickname: Elfinaniki Location: England How did you find out the site: I was mucking around on the internet and googling TK and just stumbled across it. What sort of TK fan would you call yourself: Interested, enchanted, longing and lusty! I just admire this guy so much - for his work and his attitudes as well as his melting looks ! He seems to have a really amazing set of attitudes to love, life, work and how to go about living life and experiencing the wider world to the fullest sensory potential. Oh yeah, and he's really hot too! He's just too cool. Favorite TK movie: Hard to choose but it's between 'HOFD' (because it's just such beautiful cinematography and it was my first proper TK introduction); 'First Love:The Litter On The Breeze' (because it's so quirky and kinky and just wierd enough!) and 'Takeshi Kaneshiros Antartic Adventure' (because you get to see TK, the person not the actor and get a taste of what makes him tick - hes's so adorable! Plus you get to check out a really amazing and beautiful part of the world! Quite a package!) Favorite TK drama: Have yet to see one. One word to describe TK: indefinable Interesting things about yourself Aw shucks, i don't know .. I'm a fine art and oriental studies student and i do abit of illustration here and there. I have a complete and total wanderlust for travel; i adore travelling and immersing myself in new and different cultures and landscapes. I made my first foray outside Europe when i was 10, when i travelled throughout the Middle East and North Africa and have since spent a year backpacking around Central, North-Eastern and South-Eastern Asia and Indonesia (where i remember seeing posters and ads of a striking and handsome man all over the place, but didn't realise who it was until i clocked him in HOFD! ), and some time exploring North America. I'm currently planning my next trip to Cental America, India and once again back to the Far East (because my travels have made me fall completely in love with Asia and all things Asian and i can't wait to get back!). Aside from exploring, i love chilling with my folks; art; going down the pub; learning Japanese; people with a silly, ironic and sardonic sense of humour; all things fantastical (goblins, elfs) and a little bit gothic; Tim Burton movies and my cat! ..oh and TK of course!

Name or nickname: Angela Location: United States, Virginia How did you find out the site: Yikes, I think it was Yahoo? What sort of TK fan would you call yourself: New, but voracious Favorite TK movie: I've only seen HoFD, but have purchased a couple more via eBay, so I'm waiting! Favorite TK drama: Haven't seen any, boo hoo One word to describe TK: enthralling Interesting things about yourself: Hmm, I guess that depends what you find interesting. I am a married Mother of a 6-year old son. I am an Army brat who was born in Germany (have tons of family there) and ended up in Virginia for most of my life (I love it here). I have not traveled to Asia, but one day perhaps. I speak a little German, but have not taken to learning Japanese, which makes me in the minority on this board (wouldn't mind learning Cantonese though). I get a little excited about foreign movies and always pick an actor to follow until I've collected all their films. Just finished my Donnie Yen collection, so on to Takeshi I shall go! I look forward to chatting with you guys, but should I be quiet, know that I am at least reading.

Hallo Angela! Welcome to this forum. You have a Donnie Yen collection? That is awesome!!! Do you have In The Line Of Duty 4? That is my favorite Donnie Yen movie so far. Anyway I hope you enjoy this forum. Auf Wiedersehen I don't know much German. I only know a few phrases because I watch a lot of WWII movies.

Hey JadeDragon, I saw you art in the fanart section, but I could not find a link to your website. Could you tell us what it is? I had also read that you were working on an au naturel drawing of TK. How's that coming?

Illustrations?.. Like Jadedragon's illustrations- fascinating.. we are lucky to have two of you here. Wanderlust for travel? You've been to many places- how was north africa?...and where in central America are you headed?? (I done some diving and traveling in Belize and Costa Rica.. oh , and Cozumel and Cancun...) I love to travel too and am fascinated by other peoples travel adventures. Looking forward to many more postings from you- glad you are a part of this forum! A big formal welcome EA!!

Hello all, I am new to this sort of thing and new to TK, so be patient with me.
Name or nickname:Lisa
Location:Seattle, WA USA
How did you find out the site: Surfing the web.
What sort of TK fan would you call yourself: Beginner
Favorite TK movie: Since I have only seen 2 (Returner and House of Flying Daggers) I would have to say House of Flying Daggers.
Favorite TK drama: Haven't seen any.
One word to describe TK: Interesting
Interesting things about yourself: Not much to say. I was never into foreign moves but for some reason House of Flying Daggers caught my eye at the video store. Not many movies make me cry, but this one did. When I found out that TK was in Returner, I couldn't believe it. I saw that on TV months ago. Needless to say, I rented that one too.
