that's not a stupid question.....the se has two discs: movie disc and special features disc. they come in a hardcover folding case....quite lovely btw, which is inserted into another paper case. i'm not sure how much of a difference there is between the se and all region version other then the regions being diff., so you might want to check out the all region one too.
and yes, the movie has english subtitles....the special features don't have english subs.

ok, thanx for the info  So is edaymovie.com a pretty reliable website to purchase from? What did you think of the SE? Worth the extra cost? Hmm, no eng. subtitles on the special disk huh? Is it subtitled in any other languages? |

you're welcome! eday's pretty good....shipping is cheap and fast too. i think they ship from illionois or somewhere in the midwest and i live in wisconsin so that could be a factor too. but yeah, they're good.....i just took a quick look at all my tk movies and i've bought around ten of them from that vendor.
gosh, i can't remember if there are other subtitles or not....after watching the movie a took a quick peek at the special effects, but since i couldn't understand it, i didn't pay that much attention to it and only watched the parts that had tk on the screen. if i can remember, i'll pop it in the player and see if it does.

lol that's what i said too when i watched it and found out it didn't have english subs. oh well....i still watch takeshi....i have tons of media files where i haven't the slightest idea what they are saying, but i'll sit through it if i'm watching takeshi....he is well worth it. heck i watched his south pole adventure without english subs....he's just so damn adorable!

the film festival in frisco! kewpie-chan you should go, it may be your only chance to see this movie on the big screen. if i lived in cal, i'd def. go.
