Welcome Tatiana - I think HOFD brought TK to a lot of people's attention who had never heard of him before. Me being one of those people. I'm sure his fan base has increased by the millions. I hope his future movies go into worldwide release for all of us to enjoy.

Hi all - I have been searching high and low for the lyrics to the title song for HOFD "Lovers". I haven't been able to find anything anywhere on the internet and can't decipher all the words from the ending credits or the video. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for any help.
This is all of the first verse that I can best figure:
There was a feeling of old time While we always played and ______ The wind was gently touching the grass We were so young, so fearless.
I dreamed over and over how you holding me tight under the stars I made a promise to my dear love - I will love you forever.
Time has passed, so much has changed, but the fear remains in our heart. Oh where are you? I meant to tell you I still love you.
So where heart are you? I feel you fly around me like a butterfly.

Takeshi is so skinny in HOFD.
The fighting choreography is great and beautiful, all of the scene is so beautiful, it's a beautifully directed film physically but on the other way, it lose in it's reasoning process. why I said that, afer finishing the story, I still questioned myself why & why. there is many unclear things. yeah, lau is with HOFD, put as a seed in the plice department,... ok to know the police movement. But why must Jin be involved? tailing the girl to see her back home. I don't see the reason, they can be safe with lau as the insider, so why must made the police knowthir whereabout.? and there are few more i can't remember since it has been quite long that I've seen the movie.
but it's worth or the wonderful physical directing by the director. I enjoy the fight cene although I'm not a sucker for fight scene.

Hey, thanks Tatiana - A friend has my HOFD dvd right now (I miss it), but I hope to start on the second verse, which can be heard on the video, when I get it back. I'll add what I come up with to my previous posting. Has anyone bought the soundtrack? Last time I checked at my Best Buy they didn't have it in stock yet. Maybe the lyrics would be included there. Does anyone know?

Hello, Windysgirl. I do have the soundtrack--but, sorry no lyrics. I was looking through it when you sent the SOS for the lyrics to the theme song. Unless--there's another version of the soundtrack--no lyrics at all with the one I have. Sorry!

Hi jadedragon - thanks for the info. I guess that I will just keep trying to figure out the lyrics myself. Does anyone have any input re them - how accurate is what I've come up with and any suggestions for the 2nd verse? Maybe if several of us put our ears together we'll be able to figure it out. Kathleen Battle's operatic version is very beautiful, but it's hard to hear the lyrics sung on the high notes. Thanks again. Windysgirl

Okay, Windysgirl. Here's what I came up with after listening and watching Kathleen Battle sing the theme from HOFD several times: There was a field in my old town Where we always played hand in hand The wind was gently touching the grass We were so young--so fearless. Then I dreamt over and over--of you holding me tight under the stars-- I made a promise to my dear love-- I will love you forever. Time has passed--so much has changed-- But the field remains in my heart Oh-o-ooh--where are you? I need to tell you I still love you-- Sooo-oo--I'll watch out for you-- You fly around me like a butterfly. (instrumental ) Lovers...(one word here I really can't make out)...always in my heart-- You are my true love. There was a field in my old town-- Where in Spring all flowers blossomed wide We were chasing butterflies--hand in hand till close of day. ...You're (can't make out one word here, either) my strength and my heart....(end of song) Well, that's it. As far as I can tell--2 missing words-- the rest-- I'm 99.9 per cent sure. Hope this helps!

Hi zaza - this is my take on your question - Leo (spy/mole for Flying Daggers) had been undercover for 3 years and does not know their (FD's) current location. He sent Jin with Mei as a ploy to set up a plan to have the General send his troops to kill Flying Daggers, which really is a trap for the general's troops to be slaughtered. Remember the scene in the forest when he gave the big quiver of arrows to Jin - it seemed to me he was encouraging Jin to kill more troops than help Jin protect Mei and his self. This plan also kept his cover - hence the order to return to the police and continue spying by the head of the Flying Daggers.
Anyway that's what I think. Does anyone agree or disagree?

Well said Windysgirl! I think your synopsis is right on. Leo couldn't take/follow Mei to the locale of the HOFD without risking blowing his own cover so he had to send Jin to do the job. (Besides if he hadn't, their wouldn't have been all the great love scenes b/ Mei and Jin..) I think what makes this story so intereesting is the double plots and twists to this movie... So far this my Fav TK movie!!
