Hi Windysgirl -What's shakin'?!!
Yes thanks, I finally got my TK delivery and had off today to watch them. In fact, I just finished watching TLTR. Yes. I too am a big believer in fate/destiny, and what is meant to happen,will happen. This movie did take it to an extreme, but I imagine that was supposed to make it more dramatic. Hmmmm, I was just afraid that after ALLLLL that, they still wouldn't hook up ( kinda like in Tempting Heart ).
Enjoyed TK in his tux playing the violin... was also digging him with his pony tail. Cute movie- not HOFD material. Oh well... it's my bedtime. Good night WG!! Catch ya later!!

Hi Tatiana - glad you liked the movie - I think that by not having the characters connect until the end drew the viewers in and built up "the drama" as you stated, keeping viewers hooked up to the end to see what happened to the characters. All they did was hug each other - I think that after all that "drama" and an earthquake [glow=red,2,300]a big juicy kiss [/glow]was called for. Don't you agree?

You know I've been thinking that all of Takeshi's movies (as enjoyable as they are now) could use more [glow=red,2,300]BIG JUICY KISSES[/glow] in them - by TK of course. Nothing better than a good love scene with lots of kissing.

Hey WG- You've read my mind! I was thinking that what is greatly lacking in TK's movies is kissing or more emotion.( Me personally would be kissing him every chance I got.) It seems that his movies string you along and the ending is anti-climatic because all he gets for his efforts is a weak hug! ( What is that all about?) Then I thought, well, maybe this is the Asian way of filming.... but I still think there needs to be more KISSING!!!!!!
Windysgirl- I still think we need to do some script rewriting!!

Seems like asian films have less kissing especially when compared to western movies. My Sassy Girl was a GREAT movie and there was absolutely no kissing between the two main characters, yet it was still romantic.


Takeshi just likes to tease the ladies.

Hey Tatiana - I have some ideas for a screenplay (borrowing key scenes from our favorites) - here are some of my thoughts. Some thing hot and heavy like Diane Lane and Oliver Martinez from "Unfaithful"; Leo and Kate in the car - "Titanic"; Brad Pitt and Geena Davis in "Thelma & Louise"; Antonio Banderas & Selma Hayek in "Desperado"; Dennis Quaid and Ellen Barkin in "The Big Easy" - just to name a few. Have you seen any of these films and what do you think?? Oh what the heck let's just make it a 2 hour lovefest!

Gasp...Heavy sigh.. YES, I've seen all those movies and I'm racking my brain to add to your fabulous list!! ( But I think my brain is on stand-by for the moment.)

A two hour love fest works for me! I think we have some catchin' up to do with kissing for TK- so we best get writing!!

In this movie Takeshi plays a violin. In Tempting Heart he plays a guitar and in Anna Magdelena he tunes/plays a piano and guitar. If I were a girl I would say "Takeshi looks hot playing musical instruments." Do you girls and guys think the same? I prefer seeing him play the violin the most. It makes him look so refined.

...And TK plays the electric guitar in First Love: the litter on the breeze! Yes, Takeshi is Hot as an musician- I think I like him in First Love with him sitting slightly slouched with the guitar resting on his lap, very laid back, just strumming out a tune. He looks more comfortable with a guitar. I thought he didn't look as convincing playing the violin, but he still looked HOT!!!
