Hi Samanosuke!
I couldn't find 'Misty' in DVD form- I really tried!! I just wanted to view TK in this movie, so much so I am willing to view it despite its' inferior form. What can I say..I am a hopeless TK fan.....

P.S. ....impressive DVD library...!

i want to see this also but haven't had any luck on finding it on dvd. i suppose i may have to settle for vcd for the time being.

I realise that this thread is somewhat dated...but for us "Newer" Takeshi fans who are reading through these posts, like me, to get info (so you don't have to ask redundant questions!) I thought I might mention that you can find alot of clips of "MISTY" on the YouTube site.
www.youtube.com. The clip I saw was set with the song "Glory Box" by Portishead, and was really steamy!

Hi peeps...I'm new here...meaning, I've been visiting this forum since its start but never posted. I'm actually quite busy in another English-speaking TK forum so I don't have the time.

There's something I have to offer...I totally understand if you don't agree...feel free to ignore my post...

OK, here's the deal. I own both the DVD of MISTY (without English subs) AND the VCD (with English subs)
I could copy them for both of you Helena and kewpie chan, but I want something in return.
As I said before I'm a member of another forum (I noticed some other people from there here too) and we are lacking a Japanese translator (the web mistress and some members are Chinese so we don't have a problem with that).
May I use your translations kewpie-chan (they are excellent btw. ) for our forum? I would give you credits...

Think about it...! Btw...I'm not mad, no stalker or mentally ill...and I'm living in Germany so I couldn't do any harm if you give me your address (I've sent some things to other people and they are still alive and kicking...and quite happy I suppose...lol)

For real Miki?? Wow, that would be awesome! At one point, I could only find one version and that was "Misty" in Taiwanese. Is the DVD version you have the original Japanese one or the Taiwanese one? And yeah, I'm willing to help you (or other site) out translating articles, CM's or movies that are in Japanese to English.

Thanks Helena, that's soooo nice of you! I've been trying to find ANY format (VCD or DVD) of "Misty" with no luck Anyone in the forum knows if this movie is still available to purchase? Thnx!

Oh and Miki, as for using my translations posted in this forum, you may BUT only if you do give me credits. I really do translating (part-time hobby) where I do get paid. Thanks for your answer...the DVD is Japanese and the VCD is Taiwanese. The DVD isn't available anymore, I've been very lucky to find it almost two years ago.
The VCD is of poor quality and the English/Chinese subs are embedded (is this the correct term? I mean, you can't turn it off)...I saw it on Ebay once.

If you want a copy of the DVD just post a private message.

There are some clips from last year where he promoted Perhaps Love in Japan. He showed up a press conference and two or three TV shows. I could upload them at the weekend or so...maybe you could tell us a bit about what he said...if you find the time. If it is too stressful you could at least watch and enjoy him speaking the language you are also fluent in.
