gah that looks like a really good part for takeshi! shame it's only chinese subs - my chinese is nowhere near good enough to understand it now.  and in the right-up i saw of it, he sounds like such a sweet heart-broken cutie for takeshi to play ^_^ |

hi all
i'm new and i'm very enjoy with Takeshi Kaneshiro in Confession of pain,just only him ^^
that english subtitle is suck so i can't get anything cool from it.
I don't know why,but maybe until this film & some reason too,i just realize so much amazing he's are.
He's so sweet,kindly just like a gentleman,that's what i feel
God bless me,i'm in love !!!
What a crazy thing......

miyamoto-san, you could only find region 6? I pre-ordered my copy of this movie, the deluxe version and I should get it by next weekend. It's region 3 and it does have english subtitles (and yes, I have a region free DVD player.)  |

I got my DVD on "Confession of Pain" and I must say this: Kyaaaaaaaa! (kewpie-chan does her teeny-bopper girly scream and runs/dances around just like those lil' monsters on the side LOL!!!) OMG, this movie is SO good! Although you kinda catch on earlier who the real killer might be, it was still interesting to see how the story unfolded. The ending in my POV was weak...as if the director was convinced to throw something in there at the last minute. I was just glued to my TV set in awe of both Tony Leung's and Takeshi-san's acting in this. Warning: you'll at least get misty eyed if not outright cry at the scenes where Takeshi-san is crying. So sad!  I bought the special edition DVD where the 2nd disc has extra features. Unfortunately, no subtitles so if you're not fluent in Chinese, you're outta luck understanding what's being said. (you'd think they'd at least do simple chinese subtitles...least that way I can follow some of the things being said by reading some of the chinese characters.) I highly recommend y'all go buy this and add to your Takeshi DVD collection. |

I'm glad I didn't listen to the critics, but I would have bought it anyway as our Takeshi-san is in it. I read reviews where they really trashed the film. There was one, which said the only thing good about the movie were Takeshi's "soulfull eyes". Loved it. I would have preferred that Takeshi be in every scene, but....
