I don't know a wide range of music from Japan (I've only really heard pop songs) it would be cool to hear some other genres too. Here are some of the people i like listening to:

I like Dir en Grey and Gackt. Go to youtube.com and look up their names. you can watch their music videos.
My favorite Dir en Grey song is Cage.
I also listen to TONS of anime songs.

Hi Miyuki, I absolutely love Ryuichi Sakamoto. I think he is a brilliant composer and his music crosses all boundries.

tackey and tsubasa - if you've seen these two perform or heard their songs, you'll know why i love them.   news - yuya tegoshi....what a beautiful voice for such a little person, he's not my favorite in the group, but i think he's got the best vocals. then there's ryo and yamapi.... ryo's also got a very unique voice. and kanjani8....i basically love all their songs. they have a few which are very traditionalike, has enka feel to them....very nice songs. and ryo's also in this group....yep ryo and uchi are in both news and kanjani8....they are special! hehe.

I like Merry, Glay, MUCC, D`Espairs Ray, Kagerou and Hyde.
Sunday I was at a Dir en grey concert! It was great! If anybody has the chance, buy tickets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love Dir en grey! Actually, Diru is my favorite band  I was on their concert in Berlin last Saturday - it was amazing! |

Ahh my first post and it's not even about TK I can't get enough of Heavensdust. They are from Japan and get a lot of airplay on Chronix. The have a video on youtube and a myspace page. Hello all, my name is Mandy. I hope to get to know you all better! |

my favourite, utada hikaru, still stands! but i have a newfound love for BoA... i enjoy her live performances better though, even if she lipsyncs a lot. its only cause of her routines.
