What character should Takeshi play?

I just finished reading a fabulous book, called "The Fox Woman" by Kij Johnson. Takeshi would be absolutely PERFECT for the character of Kaya No Yoshifuji! He is the young man with whom a female fox from his garden falls in love with. She trades her fox life to become human, and steals Yoshifuji from his wife. It was such a great story! It has everything! Sex, scandal, secrets, and the entire time, I could only see Takeshi as Yoshifuji.

What books have any of you guys read that Takeshi would be perfect in?

UUUUh, it's very very very touching and sexy, like yr nickname, cinxxx.
It's talk about a man who fall in love with a young girl who have a terrible childhood that make her belief she's just aways and always a whore. Her job is a whore already!
Guess what, the man save her? they have a happy life with 4 children?

No baby, he do what a customer do with a whore. He trample her. This story have everything to make you keep yr eyes on it until the last page. At least with me, haha.
Make love, sex toy, money, honor, pain, violent, abuse, dead/life - everything in it.

Perhaps, Takeshi may not fix in this character. But I think if he can bring what he does in "God, please give me more time" & "Sleepless town" when he was young, and the experience which a 32 years old he is and have right now. Damn, it will BOOM !!!

Anyway, that story isn't famous enough to make the film producer's interesting. But who care it's in the screen or not, right.

Have you ever played that word game "what would be your porn/or/pole-dancer name?" Your first name would be your very 1st pet's name, your last name would be the name of the street you first lived on. Example: My first pet was a Cat named "Pixie". The street I first lived on (that I can remember!) was "Edgemere Dr." So my porn name would be "Pixie Edgemere".
I just thought that Pixie Edgemere was too long to use for a sign on, so I went with Cinxxx. I will not say how I came by THAT name. heehee

i think tk would make a great fuijiwara in the tales of the otori films. anyone read that?

Helena, Are you reffering to "The Tales of the Otori"? Like, "Across the Nightingale Floor" and "Grass for His Pillow"? The books? Those I have read, and YES! TK would be perfect! Cinxxx=)

yeah i do mean those books! have u read the third one, Brilliance of the moon, or the sequel, Harsh cry of the heron? they rock!!! anyway, fujiwara is such a wierd, subtle character. i think tk would find it a challenge.

I haven't read the 3rd book yet, and didn't even know there was a 4th! I look forward to getting my hands on them soon! I think the story-line is fabulous...I can totally see TK as Fujiwara. Actually, who else do you know who would fit as well? Maybe someone for the younger Fujiwara in "Across the Nightingale Floor", coz he was just a child in that one, but, really...TK all the way.

This avatar is from "Kamisama Mou Sukoshi Dake". (aka: "God, Please give me more time") It was a Japanese mini-series on TV. I haven't actually seen the series because I CAN"T FIND A COPY, but I have seen alot of it on UTube, and through some of the posts here. TK is just a thing of beauty in this drama. It hurts my Rods and Cones (that's eyeball lingo) just to look at him! Deep Sigh

Too bad about the book, coz it sounded really good. Right now I am reading a graphic novel, like a comic book, called "American Born Chinese" by Gene Luen Yang. Its true for anyone born into anything other than american white...I am really connecting with it and its so sweet!

Hi cinxxx. You can find "Kamisama Mou Sukoshi Dake" DVD's I'm sure if you do a google search. I believe I saw it on sale at www.fujisan.com and www.yesasia.com
Oh, but bear in mind it's Region 2 so if you don't have region free dvd player, you're outta luck. YouTube has most episodes of it AND the dialogue is translated. Hope this helps!
