oh ya!!!!!! you are my destiny! that was another case of "in the sky"... where it bugged me from hearing it too much, but it wasn't so bad this time. thank goodness. in the ending where they kissed on the balcony...i wondered...why live next to each other when u can live TOgether?  *siiiigh* |

As for being Akutagawa's neighbor, probably so that Hitomi could assert her "independence" since she was married for a decade.

LOL! Don't know why but reminds me of Hitomi asking Akutagawa over and over does he really not remember what he did last night. You know, saying her name "hitomi" and then kissing her? I always giggle when Hitomi goes, "Mou ichido kiku yo." (I'll ask you one more time.) Akutagawa goes, "Mou ichido iu yo." (I'll say it one more time.) Hitomi: "Honto ni nanimo oboeteinaino?" (You really don't remember anything?) Akutagawa: "Honto ni nanimo oboeteinai." (I really don't remember anything.) with this expression on his face that says 'oh she's not going to like my answer and i'm in trouble.' So funny and cute at same time  |

ohh yessss!!! i love that part. his expressions are always so incredibly funny in this drama that u almost can't believe he played in roles like HOFD and Sleepless Town. how does he do it?!!! he truly is a chameleon...either that or he has some SERIOUS BIPOLAR ISSUES. hahaha i'm just kidding tk. its still a compliment though i also find his scenes with akira amusing as well. he always ends up saying some silly sexual comment at the end with a goofy look on his face. he reminds of some kid in a candy store! |

LOL! That's so true! If you watch episode #7, it's so typical Japanese humor that it reminds me of manga. His expressions, if not comments throughout that entire ep is sooooooo hilarious!! I can't help but crack up everytime I see his expression, body language and comments when he's in the locker room and this bucket comes sailing past him and Goro menacingly walking to pick it up and as he passes Akutagawa crushes it in his hands with this crazed look in his eyes and walks away. The confusion and fear of poor Akutagawa is too funny ;D You KNOW that's how he must act (a part of his personality at least) in real life cuz you just can't convey that kind of "goofiness" |

i also find his scenes with akira amusing as well. he always ends up saying some silly sexual comment at the end with a goofy look on his face. he reminds of some kid in a candy store! LOLOL!!! I think the best line was after Akira left wearing that slinky hot red teddy get-up, Akutagawa has this "heh heh" kinda look/smile on his face as he holds his hands up as if cupping melons and says, "Ummm, arewa D cup datta ne." |

ohh ya! that was the one i had specifically meant... with akira and that floozy red dress hahaha! it takes guts to wear that at a bowling alley haha another part i found really funny was his reaction to the streamers and the fire crackers in the locker room for his birthday! did you see his face? like a deer caught in headlights! loved it! |

LOL! Yeah that was a good one too. Hey, did you notice that after awhile (think it started around if not after ep#7) he sometimes addresses Hitomi as "mama". Like when he had an eyelash in his eye and she drags him under the streetlight to get a better look he goes, "Ah, mama itaiyo." or when they were in the grocery store and he's trying to ask Hitomi for a favor in bowling with him against that pro bowler from Las Vegas and Hitomi gets irritated at him for beating around the bush and he snaps back, "Mama ni natte nanka iwanaiyo!" Ahahahaha......

ARGH!! I need some help here folks. In most of the episodes of this series, there is a song that plays often when Hitomi and Akutagawa are bowling against those ringers. I know it's Paul Anka singing it but for the life of me, I can't seem to find the song!! Part of the the lyrics goes... "Every night I write a little story, every night I write a little song....if I, if I ever knew you would...oh ho ho! Uh-huh I love you so, Uh-huh I won't let go, Uh-huh..." Is the song titled "Uh-huh" or Every Night"? Found both on just ONE greatest hits CD collection but there were no sound clips to confirm the song  Anyone can help??? |
