Hi Tatiana - it seems we have been on the same wave lengths the last couple of days. I have been searching and finally found an all region version of "Turn Left, Turn Right" and am waiting for it to arrive in the mail. Hopefully on Monday - making it the 9th. I also want to see "God, Please Give Me More Time and Golden Ball" too, but cannot find them anywhere. I am waiting for the Webmaster to return from vacation to order them from her. "Lost and Found" is being released on DVD in the states on 6/21 and "Sleepless Town" on 7/19. As you can see I have a lot of time to research this stuff. If you want any of the websites I've found TK's films on let me know. Talk to you soon.

Hi Windsgirl!! Thanks for the release dates on Lost and Found, and Sleepless Town. If you belong to Blockbusters on-line, you can already reserve a copy for when they are released.(I put in a request for Sleepless Town a month ago and it is posted as "coming soon" as far as availability) Can I ask you where you ordered your all region DVD of Turn Left, Turn Right?? I'd love to order it. I'm with you,I'm hoping to order some DVDs from the Webmaster when she gets back from vaca. I'll be thinkin' of you Monday as you watch TLTR........( very envious!!)

Hi Tatiana - how's your weekend going? For me - so far, so good. I found the "Turn Left, Turn Right" DVD @ hkdvdstore.com. This is the first time I ordered from them, but they shipped it the same day I ordered. I think they are on the East coast. Also look at HKFLIX.com - I got most of my TK DVD's from them. They are out of Oakland, so I get my orders from them in 2 days. I look forward to discussing TLTR with you after we both are able to view it. Talk to you later.

Hi Tatiana, Windysgirl
If you have Hollywood Vedio store nearby, check out their previously viewed DVD. I got Returner from there, only $5 and still in quite new condition. I'll go back to check if they have other TK's movies.

hey everyone! TK movies (and the majority of the works of asian cinema for that matter!) seem a little harder to get hold of this side of the pond than in the USA..but having said that i placed an order with HKFlix after reading a recommendation on this forum (thanks guys!) and they managed to get me my order in just under a week - not bad from California to England! They also seemed to have several region versions of most movies so i managed to find compatible copies - which was a relief! So i'd recommend them for all your TK needs too! i'd really love to get my mitts on 'God, PLease Give Me More Time' and 'Golden Bowl' but as they don't have versions with english subtitles yet i think i'll have to wait until my Japanese gets a little better! Grr. Going back to 'Returner'..this was one of the first TK films that i got, and in fact i think it was the first one that i saw after HOFD - so there was quite an image difference! I really enjoyed this movie. It definately seemed influenced by several Hollywood blockbusters, with a nice big helping of anime/manga thrown in there too - a real popcorn flick! I thought TK really looked great in this one (sooo yummy). Very dashing. Mizoguchi was cool too - really E.v.i.l (hehe) and definately looked like he'd just jumped straight out of a manga work - love it! Loving the little glittery, spangly silver vest he wore under his jacket toward the end too - did anyone else notice that?! The only criticism i had of this movie was the RUBBISH performance of the english-speaking actors in the 'future' sequences - boo! try harder!! Aside from that, a fabulously fantastical, spacey, fast moving flick. very enjoyable! (and did i mention that TK was mightly fine too? hehe)

I beat you Windysgirl! I have 10...... well 11 Takeshi movies. I have two different versions of HOFD so I don't know if that counts as 1 or 2. Anywhoo... Returner isn't his best movie but what he wears in the movie is awsome! Oh and did I mention his hair is super cool in this movie?
