yeah right! probably between now and never. and about returner being a rip off of the matrix... the trench coat that tk wears is probably the only thing that matches with the matrix, other than that, returner was a movie entirely of its own. say, didn't they say that the oh so great american movie, matrix, was a ripoff of the ASIAN movie shaolin soccer?! ...i had never seen it, but sounds just about right. asians are well known for their high tech fighting action sequences. i couldn't ever believe matrix was a complete original.

seriously tJe, I know what you mean. I don't think anything's completely original, people borrow each other's ideas all the time. About the trench coat, it was Takeshi's idea. He said in somewhere that he thought it would be more dramatic to have a long coat for action sequences.

Besides looking cool for the action sequences, it's Takeshi-san in a black leather trench coat & pants. A mighty fine HOT look!!

BTW, I finally broke down and got the deluxe Japanese version of "Returner". I'm only half way through looking at the extras disc but lemme just say this: O M G!! I got to the sections where it says "Days of Miyamoto" and let out a short scream (was late at night and didn't want to wake my neighbors). It's a music video with clips of him off the set and off-camera moments. There's also what appears to be interviews section so I'll check that out tonight I hope they don't speak too fast or Takeshi-san speak too quietly so that I can fully understand what is being said. I'll let y'all know in a day or so.....now excuse me while I grab some chocolate ice cream and go watch it

Okay, I know I'm biased but I'll say this: if y'all have the bucks to shell out for the deluxe Japanese version of "Returner", go get it!! Personally, for me, the interview section alone is worth it. And yes, even at my age I did my groupie girlie scream as I watched that portion of the DVD LOLOLOL..... Oh, but should tell y'all that it's in Japanese with no subtitles.

...and one more thing, if anyone else had viewed the deluxe version: Is it just me or are there some scenes cut short in the US released version? I'll have to compare later when I have time but I can swear that's the case. Plus, the quality on the Japanese version seems sharper and not as dark. Just curious.

I just watched my copy again.
Oh giggles (he takes off the "bomb" and wonders "why didn't I explode??" Teehee!! *ahem*) and some sad tears (his PAST, man.. that makes me both sad and angry).
I'll watch it again soon and take screen caps.
"Shhh!!" ;D
Before I do, do you want only him or a mixture of various images?

misscarlos, answer to your question, mostly screen caps of Takeshi (Miyamoyo) please! He is so beautiful in this movie! I really like the scene when he takes Milli to get new clothes. The look on his face when she comes out with her "new look"! Like he can see what a pretty girl she is, and what an attractive woman she will one day be...

205 screen caps of our beloved Takeshi-san as Miyamoto. Some have subtitles: www.angelfire.com/celeb2/vincecorazza/returner.htmlYou can do anything as you wish with them. I did put a disclaimer on the page, though. Yes, feel free to show anyone the link. I wonder what Gentle Takeshi movie I will cap next?
